“Good value for a short stay in Vico Equense”
+The property is good value for money if only staying for a few nights, the location of Vico Equense in general is easy for access from Naples or to Sorrento.
−The location of the actual property is a long walk down a steep main road, this is poorly lit on a nighttime. The incline is tough on the way back up. The restaurants which are on the beachfront were not open during our stay. The water pressure and temperature of the shower is not great.

+Nicely laid out with AC in good condition
−The location chiefly. My partner has limited mobility and it is not easily accessible from Vico which was not advertised. The property needs a deep clean and paint touch up as it’s looking a little shabby. The TV and WiFi don’t work. The shared kitchen was scruffy and very limited. For a bed and breakfast this was sub par.

+It was very clean. Quiet location
−It would be nice to have a hook or two in the bathroom to hang the towels And/or in the room to hang a thing or two. There were some hangers in the closet, but a couple of wall hangers by the door would be a nice addition (especially that there is a lot of room🙂). The lock of the main doors to the apartment gets stuck, so it can be a bit treaky opening it.

“Lovely stay and we hope to visit again”

“Kind host, disappointing property.”
+The host was very kind. Breakfast was mainly cake ( to note if you prefer alternatives to sweets for breakfast).
−The property is listed as beachfront. This is misleading. The location is up some flights away from the beach. It has no water/ beach views from the accommodations. Upon voicing our discontent there was no option to cancel remaining days. .

“Scam, Worst Experience”
+The room looks exactly like the photos. Clean
−The building is not the same as on Google Maps - this feels like a scam. They said it’s ocean view, but you cannot see the ocean at all... To reach the accommodation, you have to climb extremely steep stairs. The host helped with luggage on the first day, but when leaving, even though we asked for help bringing the bags down, the host completely ignored us. The location is far and very steep, so I would never recommend it to anyone without a car. It’s shocking that none of this information is mentioned in the reviews. Walking up to the town center from the house takes at least 30 minutes uphill on a very steep road. Each room has its own bathroom, and there are three rooms in total with a shared kitchen. However, the rooms have absolutely no soundproofing. For breakfast, the host serves a homemade cake, but during our 3-night stay, the exact same cake was simply taken out of the fridge and served again each day. And shower room was also very small with weak water pressure.

“fuga perfetta!”
+Nonostante fossimo fuori stagione, con stabilimenti e locali chiusi, abbiamo apprezzato molto la tranquillità e il suono del mare in questo piccolo borgo di pescatori. Un posto perfetto per una fuga rilassante, lontano dal caos.

+Ho apprezzato moltissimo l'aiuto di Ivano che ci ha subito accompagnati alla stanza portandomi la valigia su per la salitina. La pulizia della camera e del bagno mi hanno fatta sentire subito sollevata (quando si va "in casa di altre persone" non si sa mai come la si può trovare) invece al Doneduà ho trovato proprio pulizia e ordine. Spero tanto di poterci tornare
−Non è certo colpa dell'host, ma i posteggi sono un vero delirio, per fortuna che abbiamo avuto comprensione e aiuto da Ivano stesso e dalle persone del posto.
