“Highly recommended”
+Beautiful accommodation. We’ve got a big family room with private kitchen and bathroom, right outside is a big and beautiful swimming pool. The owner responded to message very quickly and waited for us until late at night due to our flight cancellation. Overall a fine and relaxing place to stay.

+Great locatio! There’s a shop and a fish market nearby, as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants. The beach is close by and free of charge. A magnificent view of Mount Etna!
−During our week’s stay, the room was never cleaned, and the bed linen and towels were not changed. It was stated that there was a car park, but in reality it was just a standard public car park. Every morning I had to get up before 8.30 am and rush to the pay machine to pay for parking.

+Avrei dovuto capire il livello di igiene della stanza nel momento in cui la signora si è asciugata il sudore dalla fronte con la mano, e poi ha cercato di aprire il lettino per mio figlio (con la stessa mano). Non è riuscita ad aprire il lettino, ha dovuto farlo mia mamma. La stanza era sporchissima. Polvere ovunque ma la situazione peggiore era il pavimento. Il tappeto era nero e non lavato sicuramente da anni.
−Il bagno faceva puzza di fogna. La stanza era piena di zanzare. La signora ha detto 'potete fare check out quando volete' e poi alle 8:30 ci ha detto che dovevamo lasciare la stanza due ore dopo categoricamente. Poco prima di andare via si sono visti i colori della signora, agitata, scontrosa (senza alcun motivo poi). Appena siamo andati via e ho avuto un telefono per chiamarla l'ho avvisata che purtroppo mio figlio aveva rotto un piatto e che non era alcun problema per me risarcirlo. Lei ha iniziato a urlare al telefono che si era sentita presa in giro, che abbiamo lasciato la stanza sporca (quando non era neanche stata pulita prima del nostro arrivo), con le briciole per terra (perchè i bambini avevano mangiato) e ha continuato a urlare per poi chiudere il telefono in faccia quando le ho detto che mi dispiaceva che lei vedesse le cose con malizia ma che veramente io avevo chiamato per farle sapere che mio figlio avesse rotto un piatto e davvero, non era alcun problema risarcirlo. Se avessi voluto nascondere di un piatto non lo avrei sicuramente buttato nel cestino vicino al lavandino, ma avrei portato i pezzi con me. Il coperchio del cestino era rotto tra l'altro. “Very good place to stay, lovely host and I would stay there again.”
+The property has a nice pool, great for relaxing and sunbathing. It has a fridge, espresso machine with loads of capsules, hairdryer and a big bed as well as sleeper sofa. Theres lots of space and a tv. The lady in charge was wonderful, she was extremely helpful and positive and she made the stay even better. Would definitely reccomend staying here. Its also a fee minutes walk from the marina and maybe 10/15 minute walk to the beach.
−The shower is a bit small but has good pressure and hot water.

“Authentic house with character, fab pool and great hosts near the sea”
+Amazing property near the sea in Riposto with a real sense of character. Large room with great aircon. Great pool area with plenty of sunbeds - the pool is deep, large and lovely (no shallow end which was no problem for us) - we had it to ourselves when we were there. Nice cafe/kiosk just opposite the door with great pastries and coffee where we ate breakfast. Mix of restaurants nearby. The train station was walkable but the lovely owners picked us up and took us back to the station which was really kind. They are nearby if needed but not intrusive. Recommend Don Camillo Suites for a relaxing stay in an authentic town.
−The water pressure was a bit variable along with the temperature in the shower but it’s an old building and this didn’t detract from our stay much.
