“Our experience was unfortunate as I am sure if the issues were fixed it would have been a great stay”
+The location is great. The restaurant is The room itself was lovely. It was very clean and nicely decorated
−Room 2 needs the ceiling fan looked at. It was very noisy. The room was 80 degrees when we got there the air conditioner was very noisy and took 45 mins to drop 2 degree. We had to prop open the windows with water bottles to let the heat out. The bathroom baseboard heater control was broken so we could not turn it down. The temperature must have been 100 degrees that needs attention. We had to shut the bathroom door to stop the heat from coming into the room The fridge was cutting in and out all night and unfortunately that was noisey too. Needless to say we did not sleep well at all and there was no one in the building that we know of which did feel strange

“Stay was good Lunch and dinner were available on site and the food and service was good.”
+Not applicable as Breakfast was not provided
−My original bill for the room that was provided on line had me paying the tax twice. The staff pointed out the error which was pleasing to me.

“Decent 1-star or 2-star hotel. Good staff. Over-priced.”
+Gray location in downtown Minden. Pleasant and efficient housekeeping worker and restaurant servers.
−It was not as promised: not a “suite “, not a “kitchenette”, not a “sitting area”, not a “shower and bath”, no drinks or snacks. If you have nowhere to stay in Minden, and you don’t want to sleep in your car, Dominion Hotel is good for one night, but, you don’t get what you pay for.
