“A lovely stay.”
+It was in a lovely position with a lovely view of the river. It was very convenient to have parking as this can be an issue in Looe during high season. The Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. We received a lovely welcome and some delicious treats in the room. It really was a lovely stay and I highly recommend staying here.
−Nothing.

“Beautiful for some, but not for us”
+The owners are lovely. Beautiful place and clean. Nice little touch in the room with a welcome drink of rum and a chocolate. Personally loved the furnishings. Breakfast was lovely.
−This is not a criticism, but I think important people are aware of when booking. You need to be physically able to cope with steps and walking up slopes. Set half way up a cliff you need to walk, with luggage, up to the reception. We were on the top floor and 3 flights of steps. It does make clear there are no lifts, but I found the steps steep and personally difficult. (Dodgy hip) The room was beautifully furnished, but it was small (as was the bathroom) so we personally struggled with it.

“Wonderful property, great location, nice outdoor and terrace area!”
+Perfect location, only about a 5-minute walk to the station. The room was beautifully decorated, and having a little decanter of rum in the room was a very nice touch! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and fresh milk in the mini-fridge were replenished every day. In the evenings, it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view, and there is a great indoor terrace area too. There's a nearby bus stop which is ideal for catching the hourly bus to Polperro. Breakfast was tasty, and on my departure day, Steve kindly made me a takeaway breakfast since I had an early 7:33 AM train to my next destination, Penzance.
−Navigating the exterior steps and getting my case up to the top floor. However, Steve was wonderful and carried my bag down the outside steps for me when I left!
