+We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Premium Diplomat. The location is excellent, within easy few minutes reach of the main attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was really good, with a nice variety of options. What made our stay even better was the friendly and welcoming staff, who were always kind and helpful. Overall, a great experience and a hotel we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Samarkand!

“Extremely convenient for sightseeing in Samarkand”
+Amazing location - just 2 mins walk from the Registan. Room was spacious and clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Happy to recommend.
−There was a problem with the drains in the bathroom - strong smell. Needed to cover the sink and shower holes with a towel and keep the bathroom door closed. That worked.

+We would definitely recommend Diplomat Premium Hotel in Samarkand, primarily because of its excellent location. It is just about 100 meters from the magnificent Registan Square, with a mini grocery store right outside and ATM machines conveniently located nearby. It is also within easy reach of our favorite Uzbek restaurant, Labi Gor, and our favorite Turkish baklava shop. Our heartfelt thanks to Nuri, a member of the owner's family, for his exceptional hospitality and for helping us with so many things during our stay. His kindness and assistance made our experience even more enjoyable. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Samarkand!

“Excellent medium sized hotel in easy walking distance of the sights of Samarkand”
+The location was excellent. One block from the Registan on a quiet back street. Our deluxe twin room on the top floor was large, bright, clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast was very good and all the staff at the hotel were attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

“I can only recommend this hotel for it’s location.”
+The only thing I liked was the location and the small general grocery store next door which sold fresh bakery items which we bought everyday.
−There was an extremely bad smell in the bathroom which did not improve at all. The bathroom supplies were not refilled daily & the large shower did not function properly which caused water to spray outside the shower area. The breakfast was the not fresh or good quality. The fruit was very old & bruised. The warm items were on a plate, so served very cold. A full cleaning was only done once although we requested it and were there for 3 nights. The room was not even properly clean when we initially arrived. Clumps of dust, food & hair were visible on the floor. The beds are hard and the pillows were very firm & uncomfortable, even after switching to softer ones they were still very uncomfortable.
