“Beautiful room in a glorious 150 year old building, with the best hospitality I’ve ever had”
+The staff were absolutely lovely and really went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Cannot praise them enough for their hospitality and generosity! And my room was absolutely huge, even had a fridge and a balcony which I wasn’t expecting. Breakfast was great, random extra tea and treats were great, and had some lovely chats too where I learned more about the local culture and some helpful phrases.

“Wonderful stay! Incredibly comfortable, great value, and felt like family.”
+• The location is excellent, right in downtown Cairo and close to fantastic shopping and restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The balcony was a major highlight, especially for having breakfast in the morning! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home with family. A very special thanks to Um Adam and Nourhan for all their warm hospitality and help. The hotel also arranged a wonderful private tour to the Pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum, which made everything so easy. The price is excellent for the value and comfort you get. We highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return!

−Very disappointing check-in experience and poor handling of the reservation The check-in time shown on Booking.com was from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and I did not specify any particular arrival time. However, when we arrived at around 6:00 PM, we were told that we could not check in. It appeared that there was no room available for us, so the property arranged for us to stay at another nearby guesthouse instead. We had already had a long and tiring day and were both very hungry, but we ended up waiting at the reception for more than an hour while they tried to arrange another place for us. When we finally arrived at the replacement guesthouse, there was initially nobody there to receive us, so we had to wait again. After we eventually checked in, we were then told that the previous card payment had failed and that they needed to charge us again. We had to wait once more for them to bring the card machine from the original property to the new guesthouse. By the time everything was finally settled and we could go out to eat, it was already almost 8:00 PM. Another issue is that our original reservation included breakfast, but the replacement guesthouse they arranged for us did not includ

“Funcionária gentil”
+Da funcionária que nos recebeu, maravilhosa e atenciosa, ela percebeu que eu estava doente e me fez um chá, no dia seguinte me deu remédio para tosse. Super gentil.
−Do barulho da rua, buzinas de carros constantes. Mais percebi que isso e quase por todo o cairo.

+Personellerin ilgi alakaları gerçekten güzel, eski ve masraf yapılmayan bir oteli ellerinden geldiğince iyi tutmaya çalışıyorlar
−Görünen binanın sadece en üst katında bulunan 3-4 odalı bir konaklama tesisi, bina eski fakat iç mekan odalar daha da eski yıllardır hiç revize edilmemiş gibi, çarşaflar çok eski yıpranmış değişmeli artık, çarşafları yıkayan şirketi acilen değiştirmeliler temiz denilen çarşafta bile kıllar mevcut. Banyoların içi kireçten beyazlamış. Sanırım otel yöneticisi hiç masraf yapmadan para kazanmak istiyor. Malesef bizler için kötü bir deneyimdi. Asla tavsiye etmiyorum
