10.0“Peacfull, clean and friendly place to stay”
+Lovely peacful place surrounded by nature and a small, clean swimming pool. Great local tips from the host and helpful and friendly people working there. Exellent cleanliness throughout and especially the bathroom.
−There wasn't something we didn't like. Just a note regarding the phone number for contacting-it wasn't the right one. However, the messaging communication was on time and with no problems.

10.0“Awesome experience.”
+⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Experience at Yoga Barn Diane Yoga Barn Diane is truly a gem. From the moment you walk in, the space feels welcoming, calming, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere alone makes you want to slow down, breathe, and fully relax. The classes are outstanding , well structured, accessible for all levels, and deeply restorative. But what really made the experience exceptional was Katherine. She is an absolutely phenomenal instructor. Her energy, warmth, and clear guidance create a perfect balance of challenge and comfort. You can tell she genuinely cares about every student in the room. Katherine has that rare ability to make you feel both grounded and inspired. I left feeling physically refreshed, mentally clear, and genuinely happier. If you're anywhere near Diane, Yoga Barn is an absolute must-visit. And if you have the chance to take a class with Katherine , do not miss it. Highly, highly recommended. If you'd like, I can also craft: ✔ A shorter Google review version ✔ A more humorous / casual version ✔ An Instagram caption style review 😄

1.0“AVOID AVOID AVOID. IM FROM THE UK, WE HAVE STANDARDS! AVOID AVOID AVOID”
+Oh, I were to start... Ok. The host Katherine/Catherine was really down to earth... OR SO I THOUGHT... The host. is a lonely old eastern European woman who literally does not stop talking at you the second you arrive. I arrived at the property after a long day of travelling on the road from the capital Nairobi. Over 550 kilometres in the heat of the day. (She could have considered that)... I introduced myself and immediately explained that I was extremely tired and just needed to rest. I was then told to sit and that things would be explained to me, and that's when I realised I had booked the wrong place to stay... It felt like I was checking into boot camp. I felt like I was receiving a lecture as a child. While the woman was welcoming, she started to try to convert me to her way of life from the get-go. She demands that you only take showers at either 12/1/2 or 3 pm after 3 pm is FORBIDDEN as she turns off the hotwater. She tells you the beach is 5 mins walks. But be very, very prepared for a 20 mins walk on dangerous paths filled with thugs waiting to rob you, or at very least, extrot you. The swimming pool is not maintained and full of bugs and bits of tree bark. The host also
−The host. She was a cool person. But she must learn that when I guest arrives feom a long road trip. They don't need the third degree or lecture or indoctrination into your lifestyle.

10.0“Rejuvenated and healing experience”
+I had a wonderful stay at Diani Yoga Barn. After 2 months of traveling in East Africa, I needed a retreat to rest and enjoy nature for a few days. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There is a large terrace upstairs with beautiful views of the surrounding forest where they give yoga, meditation and sound healing classes. I started the morning with yoga every day lead by one of the two owners alternately. As a vegan I didn’t have to go out to restaurants for breakfast or dinner because their food was freshly prepared, well balanced, reasonably priced and delicious. I walked to the pristine beach which is about 1 kilometer away. A lovely walk through well maintained dirt roads and lots of greenery surrounding huge mansions. I felt safe walking during the day but I didn’t go out at night. They are happy to arrange tuktuks or motorcycles if you prefer not to walk. The highlight for me was to play drums with the Kenyan owner who also provides tours in a comfortable car. He has created a cultural group of young men from his village who are training in drumming, singing, dancing, acrobatics, and yoga. It was great to see them at their daily practice in the afternoon, entertainm

10.0“Beautiful and exceptional”
+The environment is serene and beautiful. I loved the fact that it only accommodates a few people and the place is kind of private to you. The Staff were nice and Katherine who is the host offers yoga classes and I enjoyed it. Its a place you can visit if you want to heal your traumas. I loved how generous she is also.
