“Hidden gem - set in a convenient location”
+As someone who grew up with Napoli as my favorite team in the late 80s, during Maradona's prime, it was a cool experience to visit Naples, and I’m glad I stayed at Diamante. It’s a good hostel with your own toilet/shower and a fridge. It’s clean, and everything is working. The room has air conditioning and fast, reliable wifi. Friendly staff and an accommodating host who speaks English and is responsive on WhatsApp should you have any queries. The location is excellent, with the central railway station and a grocery around the corner. Alibus is the non-stop airport shuttle that stops in front of Napoli Centrale. Additionally, if you want to go for a run or walk in a less crowded area, there is the financial district nearby. The famous pizzeria L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, where Julia Roberts ate pizza in a movie, is also fairly close by; the movie is based on a book, but the movie title kind of reflects Naples as a city as well: “Eat, Pray, Love”.

+Our host was the best, he gave tips about how to get around the city and places to visit. The room was absolutely perfect, and very close to the train station so it was the perfect location for us to visit multiple cities!

“Great location bud disappointed accommodation”
+Location is good next to the train station and metro station. Napoli is very dirty and this neighborhood especially.
−Air conditioner didn’t work properly and it was very hot in the room, we couldn’t sleep during the night. The accommodation is in the third level of house but it’s actually 6 floor because their high ceiling! No elevator so this was horrible after whole day of walking. The room didn’t had a second blanket. Its very old and didn’t smell good. I wouldn’t stay there again. We waited for the owner more than 30 minutes even though I texted him in advance.

“The management of the apartment is very poor”
+The bedsheet was not charged throughout our stay in the hotel. We were given just one towel each for three nights. The room was not clean throughout our stay. There were no basic facilities in the room
−The interior was good in the first day. Subsequently we had to be cleaning it by ourselves

+The room was near the train station, which was really helpful because we could visit Pompeii and Amalfi coast from there easily and did not spend much time on bus to go to station. Also it was near metro station and that helped us to go from the center fast and easily. My overall experience was really nice, the room was clean and spacious and i felt very safe. The host was really available and helpful. I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

+La habitación estaba impecable, tiene un pequeño lobby afuera con máquina de café, calentador de agua, platos; vasos, cubiertos y demás que me encantó! El cuarto tiene aire acondicionado, televisión, agua caliente, bidet, armario grande y sábanas y almohadas extra que para fue un éxito! El host fue muy amable e informativo ya que nos recomendó visitar varios lugares preciosos y nos dio también recomendación de restaurantes! Además está super cerca de la estación central de trenes! Me quedaría de nuevo aquí :)

“Cerca a la estación central de Nápoles”
+Amplio, con buenos servicios como aire acondicionado, nevera y baño privado.
−La ubicación no es muy buena, no hay ascensor y el aire acondicionado se apaga.

“Io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo trovati molto bene, posizione comoda, stanza pulita.”
+La zona seppur comoda perché vicino alla stazione, è un po’ brutta. Ma questo sicuramente non è colpa del proprietario. La stanza è il bagno erano puliti e confortevoli. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile anche al momento del checkout, facendoci stare un’ora in più gratis.
−Non c’è l’ascensore ed è al terzo piano ma ripeto in generale nulla da dire. È stato un bel soggiorno.

“Ottima posizione”
