+The overall charm. The bed linens were super soft. We were welcomed warmly at check in. Breakfast was very good.

“Great service and location on an expansive property. So glad we discovered it.”
+The pool (9 ft deep) was delightful ... a bit short for real lap swimming, but a wonderful cool off spot and in a great setting, so nice to just hang out at. The custom breakfast was expansive and so well prepared !! Service is great. The happy hour, with live piano music, surprisingly offered 6 quality wines (3 white, 3 red) and an opportunity to meet other guests + learn of the many cultural opportunities in this Berkshire art scene.
−The property is old + charming, so the bedrooms are a bit small (ours had a big closet that held a dresser as well as hanging racks). The bed had a separate foam cushion over the mattress which slid around a bit and was not super comfortable -- but a minor issue. Very little NOT to like here.

“The Devonfield Inn is a real gem in The Berkshires - perfect base for exploring!”
+We received a very warm welcome on arrival, with a tour of the premises and great service at breakfast. Lots of parking and also places to chill outside under beautiful trees. The pool was lovely and warm. Nice touch of a free night cap tray in the lounge and communal kitchen for cups of tea and coffee throughout the day. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
−No complaints at all.

+Beautiful and relaxing. The grounds are exceptional and on a perfect location to access many points of interest. My room was very peaceful and temperature control was a plus on a very hot weekend. Very clean!! Delicious breakfast!! Very tasty coffee. Extremely helpful staff.
