+The lady who checked us in was kind.
−We booked two rooms at this accommodation but unfortunately ended up not staying the night because the condition of the rooms was very different from what we had expected based on the online listing. The house generally resembles the pictures, but the photos appear to represent what the property may have looked like 5-10 years ago. In person, the accommodation looked tired and dated. The flooring was old and worn, the kettle and some of the other items in the room looked very old, and overall the rooms did not feel like they had been maintained to the standard shown in the photos. The difference was significant enough that we did not feel comfortable sleeping there and chose to leave, despite having already paid for two rooms. I contacted the host directly afterwards to explain our concerns. Lebo responded politely, acknowledged that the rooms may not have met the standard reflected online, and said they would review the photos and the condition of the rooms. She also said she would speak to the owner, her father, the following morning and that he would contact me regarding a way forward. Unfortunately, nobody contacted me after that. +What a beautiful resting place , I was exhausted from traveling and immediately put at ease by the kind host. My room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and I loved that the bathroom had both a bathtub and a large shower. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were caring and friendly throughout my stay. Highly recommend Detlous BnB for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable spot with warm, attentive service.

+The room was perfect , all you could ask for and more. The staff and host were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and the shower as well. Perfect atmosphere and also very relaxing after a long day of work.

“I’m impressed with the great quality of all facilities in the spaces we experienced.”
+The great quality facilities, rooms are great, bathroom facilities, WiFi, DSTV channels, tea station on the room, microwave, comfy chair and a cool outdoor scenery. The BnB is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. I loved the efforts the owner made to make sure we’re comfortable and having the best possible experience.
−The owner needs to invest more in training and development of employees to match the quality of the installed/operational facilities, this would take the BnB to a very high standard that it deserves.
