“A comfortable stay in a modern, spotless room, with helpful staff and a great variety of delicious food.”
+The room was modern, beautifully renovated, and well decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, making our stay very comfortable. Yousef Mubarak from housekeeping and the building manager, Mr Arafat, were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. They made every effort to ensure we felt relaxed and well looked after. Mr Milad, the kitchen manager, ensured there was a wide variety of food available and was happy to arrange dishes on request, doing his best to accommodate our preferences. A special thank you also goes to Mr Mohamed Reda at reception, who kindly arranged a room change when our original room did not meet our expectations. His assistance helped make our stay much more enjoyable.
−Some staff members could be more professional in the way they interact with guests. A more attentive and courteous approach would help improve the overall experience.

“Great pools, attentive poolside drink service, and enjoyable shows. Unfortunately, the food lacked variety, salespeople”
+The pools were very nice, and we appreciated that staff came around to ask what we would like to drink while relaxing by the pool. This was a lovely touch. The evening shows were also good and provided some enjoyable entertainment.
−We unfortunately had a disappointing experience at Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada. The food was one of our biggest disappointments. The selection was limited, and there was very little variety, both in the main courses and desserts. The à la carte restaurants were decent, but it was disappointing that some of the more appealing dishes came at an additional cost, especially when we had already paid for an all-inclusive stay. Another issue was the overwhelming number of salespeople around the hotel. We understand that this is part of their business, but it became exhausting to be approached about the same things at least five times a day. It made it difficult to truly relax and enjoy our holiday. On our very first day, we also had an unpleasant experience after a massage. An employee told us directly that tipping was necessary and that we had to give a tip. We had already paid for the service, and tipping should always be a personal choice. Unfortunately, this experience affected our trust in the staff, as it became difficult to tell whether their assistance was genuine or whether they were expecting tips in return. Our room also needed an upgrade. The door was poorly soundproofed, m

“I just want to be back”
+Literally everything, we had such an amazing vacation, the food was great, we got the best apartment in the whole hotel which was clean, spacious, with amazing view. We really loved the new bars and restaurants! And the bay was just great, the small coral reef gave me a great opportunity to enjoy snorkling. The kids had great fun with the evening cinema and shows.
−The breakfast was the same every morning even though it was very rich, which was a bit of a bummer after staying there for 8 days.

+We recently had the pleasure of returning to Desert Rose Resort, and once again, our stay was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. While the resort’s beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities made our visit enjoyable, what really made it memorable was the outstanding hospitality of the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated throughout our stay. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Samar El Nobi from Guest Relations, who provided exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with genuine warmth and made sure all our arrangements were perfectly taken care of. We would also like to express our appreciation to Mr. Mohamed Reda, who welcomed us warmly and made the check-in process smooth, efficient, and stress-free. His friendly attitude and professionalism helped us feel at home from the very first moment. Our sincere thanks to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. It is the dedication and kindness of people that make Desert Rose Resort stand out and keep us looking forward to returning again.
