“Incredible - never seen anything like the desert and the best team - highly recommend”
+The most beautiful night sky, so peaceful and with such a friendly and helpful team. Tawfiq and Sattam made sure I was able to do everything I wanted to from climbing the highest mountain in Jordan to having tea in the dark watching the stars and the moon from a view point with a fire! The most incredible views and amazing good quality food. Also brilliant wifi and a great shower, really comfortable and the option to sleep outside too! Lovely and kind team - highly reccomend

+Every time I come to Wadi Rum, I inevitably return to this camp, it’s my favourite! The view from the camp is absolutely stunning and vast, which I particularly love for stargazing. Tawfiq, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and happy to show you what “Bedouin hospitality” really means: enjoying delicious food (the Zarb dish cooked by the talented Taha!), sharing stories, drinking tea prepared on fire, and having a unique stargazing experience. The camp is very clean, I particularly like the gathering tent (it’s very cosy) and the other tents are very comfortable (big blanket are provided, it’s impossible to get cold during the winter nights). Tawfiq also arranged any activity I wanted to add to my desert trip (jeep tours, camel rides, climbing sessions, etc.) with great flexibility! I truly recommend this place

+Staying at Desert Bird Camp was the most incredible experience. This place truly captured my soul and heart. I deeply fell in love with the family, the food, their culture, and their warm hospitality. I would recommend everyone to visit this amazing place and experience the greatness that I discovered,surrounded by the sand, starry skies, and cozy tents. It is an experience, an emotion, and a memory that will never fade from my mind, no matter what happens. If you visit this camp, you won't regret it. Shukran!

+Tofi is a great host and source of inspiration. The location in a safe corner of Wadi Rum overlooking the beautiful desert is outstanding. Breakfast and dinner very tasty. You can start your hiking directly behind the camp. Or take a Jeep tour or ride with camels.

+The camp is really nice and simple, with a big common tent for dinners and hangouts, and a terrace for relaxing. I liked that the place was not overly touristic, but had a nice and calm atmosphere. Food was good, and facilities were clean. The communication was clear, and Tawfiq knew a lot about the place and the dessert. They offer various tours depending on your needs.

“Perfekter Aufenthalt im Wadi Rum”
+Besonders hat mir die Lage mitten in der Wüste gefallen und auch das familiäre Zusammenkommen abends beim Abendessen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr sehr freundlich und haben einen sogar zu z.B. Kamelrennen mitgenommen!
