10.0“Lovely hotel just outside of pink city walls”
+This lovely hotel is located just outside of the pink city, easy access on foot or with tuk tuk. The owner is just an all around lovely and interesting human being. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is wonderful and served in a lovely outdoor courtyard, and service is attentive. We would stay here again next time we come to Jaipur.

9.0“A much needed and welcomed oasis in a beautiful but noisy, dusty city”
+The very gracious, hospitable and welcoming host and staff. The beauty of this cultural, historical heritage property where we has a large spacious, beautifully decorated room The delicious and tasty food which accommodated our request for non-spicy food. The central location, close to Pink City. Thank you for sharing your home and history with us
−What's not to like, except perhaps the excessive ambient light at night, an ill-fitted toilet seat and a clogged bathroom drain. Service was a bit slow at busy dinner times. Nothing major really!

10.0“Beautiful hotel with fantastic service”
+Beautiful building from the owners great grandfather. Felt like stepping back into history. Would highly recommend. Owner shared a little about his family. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Very friendly staff. We left a shirt in the room and they kindly delivered it to our next hotel. Highly recommend coming here, one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

10.0+Extraordinary place where we've found peace, from crowded and noisy Jaipur streets. Helpful and nice owner, delicious food, clean room. And in the evenings cooking classes (which unfortunately we didn't have time to attend - maybe next time) Puppet show. What to expect more. We highly recommend staying at Dera Mandawa.

9.0+The rooms were huge for 4 of us, clean, spotless and the staff were very polite and helpful. They even went over and beyond to arrange a birthday cake for my wife and decorated the room specially for us. The location is ideal as it is in the heart of the city. Walkable to the metro station, easy spot to get a rickshaw or taxi. The owner greeted us when we checked in and gave us a small talk tour of the history of the place, talked to us about his ancestors and explained the house rules. We had breakfast everyday during our stay and dinner on the first night which was homemade meals and were delicious. Could not ask more from our stay in Jaipur.
−Nothing.
