“Other cheaper hotels would have been a better option”
+Room size was good for a family
−The place needs a bit of TLC, paintwork, swimming pool, walking around the grounds, there are just dumped items, like mattresses. Hotel didn’t let you know about the road closures due to the building of the HS2 railway way at night

−Room is too small. No fridge. Staff in the kitchen are rude and when u ask something that give u a answer that is not acceptable Receptionist can't even smile and say hello.i think she's so matured for her position very miserable. Restaurant food is expensive for the price because the portion is so small but taste okay.

“Passable for a night stay, but not value for the premium prices charged.”
+The location itself is lovely. PODs by Clay Oven was genuinely enjoyable (food and dining experience), and the staff were friendly.
−Unfortunately, this hotel was a real disappointment, particularly considering the premium prices charged. The room itself was very average and certainly didn’t reflect the price point. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with hairs left everywhere, significant dust and dirt behind the bath, mould covering areas of the ceiling, and a toilet that was heavily brown-stained and clearly in need of a thorough clean with bleach. Food from previous stayers had been left in the fridge showing cleaning isn’t thorough enough. The room was also in need of attention, with flooring coming apart in several places and things seemingly held together with gaffer tape rather than being properly repaired. Soundproofing was virtually non-existent, meaning you could hear people walking and talking throughout the building, resulting in a very disturbed night’s sleep. Breakfast was another disappointment, with the whole process managed incredibly poorly. Given that the hotel knows exactly how many rooms are booked and how many guests have breakfast included, there really is no excuse for the lack of organisation. “Perfect location, decent cleanliness, friendly kitchen staff. Overall, I would recommend it.”
+The location is simply perfect and is definitely the highlight of this hotel. The cleanliness was acceptable, and the staff were moderately pleasant overall. The kitchen staff were particularly good, especially Surender, who deserves a special mention for his excellent service. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, mainly for its fantastic location and the good experience with the kitchen team.

“Wonderful stay in luxurious surroundings”
+We liked the room, with 2 adults and 2 teens a family room can feel small but we had plenty of space a beautiful bathroom with free standing bath and shower, dressing area and small balcony. The facilities were lovely, the outdoor space was beautiful. There were lots of spaces to hide in the hotel with a book which is great to be able to do especially if sharing a room with others who go to bed earlier. The lounge was great, as was the pool.
−The gym was very basic but was fine to get us moving. A couple of folding chairs in the room would have been useful. The drinks station was still set for 2 rather than the 4 of us who were using the room (none of this caused any issue we loved our stay and would go again)

“Did the job and was pleasant and comfortable but lacked any special or stand out parts.”

−The food was a bit 'odd'. Pitched and priced as elevated but not the reality. All tasted fine but not special and I think this is the area I would seriously question value for money.
