+The location was fantastic , 2 minutes from the beach, Smurf cafe right next door best breakfast and wisewellness yoga right on your doorstep . The property was very well maintained and the staff amazing .

“Everything you need in good quality, but…”
+The owner is a really nice man and was always friendly and helpful. The building is very new. The room is spacious, and we received a free upgrade because the room we had originally booked faced the terrace of the nearby Smurf's cafe, and we expected some noise. However, this turned out not to be the case! At this Smurf’s Café, we had a good breakfast every day. There are a few restaurants in the area, and one that really stood out was Eggy's,Eggy makes delicious fish. There is a beach nearby where pelicans dive into the water, and we even found traces of turtles there.
−The building and the room are very sparsely designed. All the walls and floors are white, and there are no lamps,just bare light bulbs. The driveway is huge and covered only with gravel. There are no plants, no decorations, no paintings, so it feels very “cold” and dull. There is a “door” leading to the Smurf Café. Why not have a proper path and a better-quality door? If I were the hotel owner, I would collaborate with this café and even offer breakfast through Booking. And one more thing: please remove the plastic covering on the pillows. It really feels like you’re sleeping in a hospital. (To be honest, I removed them myself and later put them back.)

+Excellent location, short walking distance to the beach and cafe and restaurants. Our room and the common area are clean and big. Great view and comfortable to stay here. Great WiFi. The host couple is very kind and helpful that they provided many information of foods and the community, and sent us to Luana. Highly recommended to stay here.

+The pool area was so clean the building is newly constructed you’re surrounded by the trees so close to everything at beach the rooms are comfortable no tv though however we were too tired for tv I would come back

+I came from the States to stay at Demaroys for the Calabash literary festival and beyond, and it could not have been more perfect. Walking distance to the Calabash site, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Next door to Smurf's, the best breakfast place in the area, and right across the street from the beach at Frenchman's, other restaurants, and a small shop for groceries/snacks/etc. The room and bathroom were spotless, and came with great a/c, a small fridge with freezer, hot water, an electric kettle and coffee fixings, and a small balcony for drying towels and enjoying evening breezes. The hosts were ever available and very kind, sharing plums and mangoes, the occasional run into Black River for groceries, and a pick up from Luana, as well as connecting me with excellent and affordable drivers to and from Montego Bay. Because it was so hot already that time of year, the small pool was a lifesaver for me for cooling down when it became shaded in the afternoon. WiFi was persistent, and the hosts were quick to respond to any query. My cousins came from Kingston for a weekend and loved it too. I cannot recommend Demaroys highly enough!

+I like how clean and spacious the rooms were. There was complementary tea, and a kettle with cups, and a mini fridge which was great. I also like how close it was to everything, and food joints are just across the fence. The community felt safe enough to walk at night, which is also a big plus.
