+Great location and superb views from the roof terrace. The room was clean and comfortable and had beautiful design details. Great shower and the place was impeccably clean thanks to Malouda. The owners (Galician) are wonderfully welcoming and could not help us enough. Attentive without being too fussy. We had some great exchanges with them and other guests on the amazing terrace. One of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere for this budget and type. It has such character and the roof terrace kitchen was a bonus. It’s well equipped and the basics such as oil and seasoning/ spices are all there to cook properly if you wish. Fresh coffee on the terrace in the morning with a sea view…. Was bliss. I can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed.
−It was all great. My only mention would be the stairs could be a challenge for less abled or older folk with joint pain. The stairs are very tight and like a clock tower. This is wonderfully characterful and charming but maybe not for everyone. That’s not a fault or negative by any means but I can imagine some may struggle.

+Beautiful space!! Option to rent out the whole apartment. The rooftop is amazing. The place is super cute, clean, and very charming and cozy. The family who manages the place is incredibly nice!

−Clients shpuld be aware the stairs are very steep. Unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

“Good”
+Location was very central with quick access to the beach and markets. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The views from the terrace are stunning.
−It's very narrow so feels a little cramped and steep. The stairs and terrace would not suit older travellers or young children. It's a little noisy at night, but that's the trade off for being so central.

“Peaceful place with the best views!”
+Such a relaxed place to stay! The roof terrace looks out to the Atlantic and across the Medina and must be one of the best spots for the sunset in Essaouira. Saudade was a gorgeous host, really welcoming. The house was full of art and music and was a lovely place to stay. It was a great location for exploring the town. Would recommend a trip to the fish market for fresh cooked sardines.

+Great location, traditional, authentic apartment, which has been nicely refurbished, well equipped, very clean and comfortable, lovely roof terrace with sea views. I loved the interior decor. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Essaouira.
−The stairs to the apartment, which is on the third floor, might be an issue for some people. Whilst I was there work was being carried out on the roof terrace which was a bit intrusive. Probably not an ongoing issue, but it was a shame for me.
