+This was my second time in this place and i love it always more! The house is super cozy, clean, and conveniently located. The hosts are incredibly lovely and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. I can’t wait to come back! ❤️

+The host is amazing, super friendly and helpful, loves his Riad and the history and it shows, loved hearing his stories The Riad is located perfectly, it's peaceful and quiet but very close to the sea, the Kasbah of the Udayas and the city center.

“excellent pleasant stay”
+The breakfast was great and plentiful, typical Moroccan style. Hospitality was excellent, so helpful and wanting to share lots of local knowledge. Moroccan people really are the best. Excellent aircon a bonus. Very peaceful location. Slept great. Get your own door key as well.
−The only downside for me was the location was a little secluded to get to, I wouldn't stay again if I was travelling solo (I am again this weekend solo). However, I was with my niece so was all good and the internet reception with google maps in the medina is exceptional so you wont get lost.

+I loved everything about my stay at Dar Si Hmed. The location is ideal to explore Rabat! The hospitality of Uncle Nasr and his wife Iman is just on another level. They made me feel like home, I felt like I was staying with family from the moment I arrived. They are very kind, I got to try different Moroccan specialties and learnt a lot about Moroccan culture especially around the Eid traditions as I was during Eid Ul Adha. The history of the house is amazing, you can tell a lot of effort has gone into maintaining the house and you feel the passion of Uncle Nasr when he tells you about the architecture of the house and all its gems. A taxi can also be arranged for pick up and drop off to the airport for an extra small fee, which is convenient. I had an early train to catch from Rabat on one of the days for a day trip in another city and Uncle Nasr made sure I had the correct directions to reach the train station. He was also very kind and messaged me later on during the day to make sure I reached my destination safely, little details like that make a big difference.

“Siamo scappati”

−Dopo aver scarpinato per oltre 20 min dal parcheggio in mezzo alla Medina con le valige, zaini e bambino al seguito ( nonostante la prenotazione comprendesse il parcheggio per l'auto ) siamo arrivati al Riad e abbiamo scoperto dopo mezz'ora di convenevoli che la nostra stanza non aveva il bagno privato. Si trovava al secondo piano e dovevamo scendere al primo per condividere con i padroni di casa un bagnetto piccolissimo, oltretutto scendere per una scala ripidissima che con il bambino era improponibile se avessimo dovuto usufruire del bagno di notte. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare stanza, averne una con il bagno o nello stesso piano, ma il padrone di casa ci ha detto che nn c'era possibilità. Abbiamo fatto presente che noi avevamo prenotato la camera con bagno privato ma lui si e' arrabbiato e l'ha tirata per le lunghe al che' abbiamo deciso di prenotare da un'altra parte e andarcene, lui in malo modo dopo la discussione ci ha ridato i soldi della prenotazione "dimenticandosi" di renderci quelli della tassa di soggiorno che avevamo pagato al nostro arrivo (12 euro)

“Séjour magnifique chez une famille adorable”
+Nasr et son épouse sont vraiment adorables , ils sont aux petits soins pour vous ! L’impressionnant d’être de la famille ! Le Riad a une histoire et il est très bien placé
−Rien . Peut être la salle de bain commune mais pas de soucis pour nous nous avions les 2 chambres du haut
