“This is a Dar with heart! This is Tunisian hospitality taken to another level.”
+We loved this place. It is the owners who make it, which is the theme from the reviews! The room we had was a good size and nice en-suite with powerful shower. The pool was wonderful as a way to cool down. We also loved how Eric and Amira have a fridge stocked full of water for guests and with a coffee machine. It was great to have a cold drink by the pool in the evenings. We were fortunate enough that Eric had time and offered to show us the island and through him we hired a car for the day. We learned so much! Amira prepared amazing breakfasts and even helped us with finding a necklace for our daughter. I think these are lovely people and they made our holiday in Djerba very special.
−This is not a pretty sanitised resort. This is a property right outside the throbbing heart of Houmt Souk. That’s why we chose it. Others may not like that.

“Wonderful stay in Djerba”
+Eric and Amira were wonderful hosts. Can’t say enough about them. Eric took us on a tour of the town, their recommendations were exceptional, and they also offered tourists that we had unfortunately pre-booked what we planned to do when we were there. The room was comfortable and breakfast was absolutely amazing. If you were staying in.Djerba you must stay with them

“Feeling like at home in a comfy place”
+Like coming home, Eric en Amira are so welcoming and easy-going. The house is great, rooms comfortable and clean. A fridge full of drinks available to you and an amazing breakfast to share in the morning. Also got to practice my French which was fun 🤩

+The breakfast at Dar Rita was perfect! There was different food everyday and it was very tasty. The location was calm and within walking distance from the market. Amira and Eric were very pleasant and always willing to help out with anything you want! I will definitely come back to visit them.Thank you again for your hospitality.

Eric will organise outings for you and even accompany you if he has time. If you’re new to the country this is a great spot to start your adventure!

“Agréable séjour à Houmt Souk”
+Dar Rita est un lieu dans lequel on se sent comme à la maison et dans lequel il est facile de faire connaissance avec les autres voyageurs puisque le petit déjeuner est pris ensemble, autour des mets concoctés par nos hôtes. 10 mns de marche en toute sécurité suffisent pour atteindre le centre ville et le souk.
