“Perfect authentic experience in the fez medina”
+The location can’t be beat. To have an authentic dar experience in the Fez Medina, this is it. The housekeeping staff were also so lovely. She surprised me tea one day when I was up on the rooftop one afternoon! And she insisted on switching out our towels every two days. AC worked great!
−The WiFi was very weak. If you are working remotely I would not book this property, unless you want to use data (which worked on the rooftop). The dar had clean sheets and towels, but everything else was very dirty. A layer of dust on the bathroom shelf, carpets with visible chunks of dirt. I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off. The place needs a deep clean.

“Great place, in great location and nice accomodating hosts.”
+We booked the entire Riad - fortunately it is close the the edge of the medina and therefore easy to get to compared to the deeper parts of the medina - it's a nice, largely residential area - so very safe, even late at night. The location is really great - 3 minute walk to Talaa as-saghira and bab bagloud - where you can find food and markets. The Riad has everything we needed as a family 3 bathrooms, plenty of beds, AC, a kitchen with cutlery, microwave, stove, coffee machine, oven. The host Hicham and Houda were excellent - I was texting Hicham throughout my stay for tips, guidance, even video calls when you get lost in the madina (it will happen!). Overall I was very pleased with the Riad and it made our 9 days in Fes wonderful.

“We were take. Care of very well by houda and hicham. They are such great hosts and the dinner was very nice on our arriv”
+The property was cosy and decorated authentically. It was in the middle of the old medina not far from the ruined gardens. It was a refreshing escape from the outside
−There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Just the stairs to the roof terrace were a little steep

“Brilliant Dar Houda”
+Lovely people, beautiful apartment 5 min walk to main streets. Great communication, WiFi, aircon. Everything you need to spend a few days exploring Fes.
−The terrace could do with a bit of shade, umbrella etc but great place.

“Agréable séjour dans une oasis de calme au centre de la médina”
+Le charme traditionnel et confortable de notre maison avec cuisine et salon . L accueil sympathique et bienveillant de Hicham et de son épouse. Le calme du lieu malgré son emplacement dans la médina. La literie est bonne . Les locaux sont impeccables. Le toit terrasse est un plus . Nous avons passé un Tres agréable séjour de 3 nuits . Merci Hicham pour votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse !!
