“Great hospitality in a beautiful home”
+Gerard is the perfect host - he offers a very warm welcome and excellent food. We appreciated the attention to detail both in terms of the food and the beautifully renovated property. It is a wonderful combination of the old and new.

“Incredible, can't wait to come back. Thank you so much Gerard!”
+We were truly so happy with everything-- the breakfast each morning was an amazing start to the day, Gerard really put a lot of thought into everything he served. The guesthouse itself was gorgeous, and he was really attentive to anything we needed (from booking massages in the spa room to letting us in when we locked ourselves out). It's also in an amazing area, very close to taxi stops, cafes, and La Ghriba synagogue.
−Perhaps the wifi connection could have been a little better, but I think that was fixed halfway through our stay :)

“Exceptional”
+Our stay at Dar Bibine could not have been better, and we are grateful to Gerard for the marvelous time. The building is absolutely beautiful, an exquisite and peaceful oasis with great character. Gerard was so welcoming and kind. The room was perfect and the place well-stocked with anything we might need. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. The location was ideal, right in Djerbahood and walking distance to the El Ghriba synagogue. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. Thank you immensely to Gerard and Dar Bibine. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.

“All good in Djerbahood”
+Age, original features, decor. Our host prepared wonderful meals using locally sourced ingredients. There was lots of art. Property itself, an old dar, is very interesting.

“Superb”
+A beautiful house in a great location in town. My room was comfy and quiet. Gérard was an excellent host, and I especially loved the attention to detail throughout the accommodation. Breakfast was lovely, and the selection of homemade jams was tasty and unique. No sooner had I asked Gérard how to close the door of my room quietly than he put a handle on to assist. Amazing!
−Occasionally artistic design gets in the way of practicality. It was hard to wash your hands in the washbasin in the bathroom as the sink was teensy-weensy. It's a minor complaint amid a terrific stay.

“Loved it”
+Gerard is an excellent host making you feel at home and always available to assist or just have conversation. The breakfast was excellent and creative. The location in Erriadh is central for touring the island and walking Djerbahood. The house and our room were beautiful
−It is a small thing, but they do not accept credit cards, so please make sure you have sufficient cash in Euro or Dinar.
