“A person cannot trust that a quoted price online will be the actual price for this location.”
+The room was ok. It was clean. The person who met us at the door was very polite.
−The shower did not work. The biggest disappointment was that the Booking.com price for this room was $99 but when we checked in the price had increased to $150. We felt that the owner took advantage of the fact that we could not find another room in the area that night and we were forced to pay the increased price.

“We do not recommend it to anyone”
+The common spaces
−a dark room with little space and a very unwelcoming atmosphere. It is advertised as four-star, but there was no fridge and no mineral water. The bathroom was reminiscent of the 70s Eastern bloc. Mouldy tiles, rusty lampshades protruding from the mirror. The whole place had the feel of a crypt. On top of the overpriced accommodation, they even wanted to charge for parking within the grounds.

+The owner of this property and Riad Mimosa is undoubtedly one of the most generous people I have met - he and the staff are extraordinarily attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay in Fès comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable. As I was travelling alone for most of my stay in Fès, this was deeply appreciated. The premises are incredibly clean and charming. I 100% recommend either Dar Aliane or Riad Mimosa.

+The courtyard is really nice, as are the people, even if the communication was not easy. Since it was available, our room was upgraded as we arrived.
−The linens need to be renewed, and the bathroom could use some fixing.

“Great stay in Fes!”
+Dar Aliane was great! We stayed there for a night before a CTM bus the next morning and it was so lovely, wish we could’ve stayed longer! Lovely staff.

“Nice place close to the train station”
+We only stayed here for one quick night, and we were the only guest. We checked out early the next day so can not attest to breakfast. The staff were very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. The air conditioning worked amazing!
