“Do not book the small is bad”

−The smell, unfortunately we could not stay, we had to come home, the caravan was grim and the mattress had stains on them. It all felt unclean.

+We unfortunately couldn't stay due to dan having to cancel as the people who stayed previously wrecked the place causing a lot of damage but I wanted to leave a review for him anyway as I belive we would have had a lovely time if we stayed

“Amazing stay”
+Property was in a grate location right next you the beach, was worried with some of the reviews left but can honestly say it’s a grate caravan yes it’s an older caravan but it was clean and comfortable we stayed for 3 nights and had the most amazing time , grate communication with owner for the price of the caravan would 10/10 recommend and 100% would stay again
−Did have a slight damp smell but after opening the windows for a bit smell soon went other than that I can’t say a bad word against the caravan

“Dirty but cosy and close to the beach.”
+The host was helpful and the location is very good, located close to the beach and away from noise. The price was relatively cheap.
−It wasn’t as clean as we expected based on the other reviews. We checked in early, at around 1pm, and on arrival we immediately let the host know that the property was dirty. He explained that because we had checked in early, the cleaners hadn’t arrived yet. However, this hadn’t been mentioned during any of our previous phone conversations. He did offer to send a cleaner, but by that point we had already started cleaning ourselves. Fortunately, we had read the previous reviews and brought our own duvets, as one of the duvets provided had blood on it. There was also a used plaster on the floor which we didn’t notice initially and unfortunately stood on. There was also a smashed window which the host was aware of, but we were left to discover this ourselves on arrival. I feel that many of these issues could have been avoided with better communication. If an early check-in means the property won’t have been cleaned, this should be made clear beforehand. If we request an early check-in, we would reasonably expect the property to be clean and ready, or at least to be informed if that isn’t going to be possible. Poor considering our ‘early check in’ was also just after 1pm. Overall, the

“Awful”
−Good communication from owner until checking in day when I heard absolutely nothing in regards to checking in. Spent the whole day stressing and wondering if we had anywhere to stay. Had to ring a couple of times to get the info. Got an excuse about booking.com not releasing messages but every other one went through smoothly. The caravan stank to the point it was making me feel sick. It was old and tired and had heavy usage. Broken window in lounge, pots in the sink, food left in the fridge, dirty microwave, no lights in one bedroom and a dirty, torn quilt in the main bedroom that looked like someone had just crawled out of it as was all screwed up on the bed. The toilet had skid marks in it but shower and sink were not too bad. Nothing felt clean and struggled to get comfortable. Luckily I'd bought plenty of blankets which we used to cover things where we sat. Most places were booked up in Chapel that weekend otherwise we wouldn't have stayed and luckily it was only for two nights. There was random junk shoved in the cupboards and all the soft furnishings smelt despite me spraying the half bottle of febreeze that had been left out.
