“Poor cleanliness and hygiene, with pest issues, stained towels and a room in urgent need of maintenance.”
+Decent breakfast and kind staff
−Unfortunately, the cleanliness and hygiene standards were very poor. There was a huge cockroach in the room when we arrived, and several more appeared during our stay, as well as other animals such as geckos. The towels were stained to the point that we did not feel comfortable using them, and the fridge was dirty and smelled unpleasant. There was also no mosquito net in the room, despite one being clearly shown in the photos. The property urgently needs maintenance, a thorough deep clean, and proper pest control.

+Our hosts were extremely kind friendly and helpful to assist us in organizing our bus trips, the breakfast was delicious (and very local!), and the bedroom was clean with a working AC. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly ik the middle of Dambulla which means you are a 2min wlak away from a bus stop, food around is great (albeit on the lankan expensive side due to then being full on restaurant), and you have a lot of banks if you need to draw cash.
−Bathroom floor is extremely slippery but this is a non issue for careful people 😁

“Gastvrij verblijf op een goede locatie”
+Lieve en gastvrije familie, heerlijk ontbijt en een goede locatie dicht bij de bushalte. De tempels zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken met een tuktuk. Een fijn verblijf!
−De klamboe was kapot, maar dankzij de airco en plafondventilator hadden we weinig last van muggen. Tip: zet de buitenlamp uit zodra het donker wordt om insecten te verminderen.

“很有意思的一次住宿”
+房间设施非常齐全，有点超出预期，更像是个studio，还有放冰箱和茶水间的凸出小角落，很有意思的房间设计。房间很大，浴室也很大，而且浴室里有股淡淡的香味，这点很难得，要加分，洗澡有热水，加分。民宿是家庭式的，一对老夫妻和他们的女儿女婿一起经营，女婿有taxi公司生意，可以市内或者城际接送，这点倒是很方便，而且价格也蛮可以的。地理位置也很不错，出小巷子右手边马路对面是Food City，左手边有commercial bank取现，再过去几分钟路程是汽车站。
−电风扇和空调的声音有点大，颇有存在感。

“Ottima permanenza”
+stanza grande e confortevole, con angolo cucina con bollitore e frigo bar, letto grande e comodo. Posizione ottima, in una stradina laterale silenziosa ma vicinissima alla strada principale. Staff gentile. Colazione ottima e abbondante
−servirebbe un asciugamano in più, uno scopettone per far defluire l'acqua in bagno che con la doccia si allaga e una pezzuola per asciugare la cucina. Un po' difficoltosa la comunicazione per il servizio lavanderia
