“TERRIBLE bed.”
+Tired and basic, but reasonably cean, quiet and well positioned and easy to find. Had everything we needed for our short break and the ensuite was adequate. Very close to the many buses into the city centre and some very good local restaurants.
−The bed was soooooo uncomfortable that we barely slept. While awake, I read previous reviews that have said the same thing. The owners always thank people for their reviews, but clearly never act on any of them. Before considering another stay here, we would need to know that investment had been made in some new mattresses.

“Great place to stay in Edinburgh!”
+I had a room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, with body wash and shampoo in the shower. My room had some towels I could use, a sink and a hairdryer. The room also had a kettle and some tea, coffee, milk and sugar and some paper cups to make a hot drink. The breakfast was also more than enough and included cereals, oatmeal, toast and tiny croissants, fruit, yoghurt, nutella and an assortment of jams with milk, tea, coffee, orange and apple juice for drinks. Overal for me this was perfect.
−I did struggle to figure out how the shower works the first day. On the handle it says 38°C in the middle with on each edge an arrow next to hot and cold. Once the shower heated up properly it was scalding and turning it towards cold didn't change anything even after waiting a minute. It wasn't until I turned it towards the hot side that the water cooled down. So hopefully now nobody else has to struggle although I might be the only one who didn't understand the mechanism.

“Friendly location and nice staff, but not ideal room”
+Friendly staff, good position with a supermarket and lots of buses, size of the room perfect for sleeping
−Mainly cleanliness, they should work on it. We had lots of dust on the carpet, on the hair dryer, on the sofa and the bag of the toilet's bin was visibly reused. The mattress was terrible and totally not comfortable. In addition, no clean place to let the towel dry.

“Muchisima suciedad”
−Desayuno muy básico, habitación súper sucia, las sabanas estaban llenas de pelos, telarañas por las paredes, horrible. Hablamos con el chico y nos la adecentó, pero vamos, pagar para encontrarte con esa suciedad... asqueroso.

“Ok senza pretese”
+Posizione abbastanza comoda, silenziosa! Per 1/2 giorni va bene, un soggiorno senza pretese. Colazione ok (latte, caffè, the, succo di frutta, cereali, pane tostato, marmellate, burro, nutella, frutta)
−Camera piccolina con moquette, purtroppo lenzuola e asciugamani leggermente sporchi

+Lokalita byla super, všechno jsme si prošly pěšky a bylo co vidět snad v každé uličce. Snídaně byla super.
−Asi bylo vše v pohodě, jediné mínus byla sdílená koupelna, ale byla čistá, takže v pořádku.
