“Very dated hotel without stable electricity and no maintenance or any management”
+The location at Liceu metro stop on the Ramblas. Maria the desk person and Charlie the night manager
−No electricity! Both the lifts were turned off. The emergency lighting in the stairwell didn’t function. The ambulance took away one man who fell in the stairwell. No electricity no Internet. We were assigned room 403. The shower roof full of mould. The room very dated. Shower head retainer broken. The safe deposit box didn’t function. The manager Carlos Rodriguez unreachable. The staff declined to provide his number or call him. Even when the power was restored only two of the 4 phases worked so no lift!We left after one hellacious night. Caveat Emptor!!!

+Property wasn’t a good location. He arrived on Sunday, but the sheets weren’t clean. The floor in the bathroom was not clean.
−Monday and I went to bed. The lights were on and when we woke up on Tuesday morning, we had no electricity from Tuesday until late Thursday. We were on the third floor my friend traveling with me is disabled and he was terrible to go up in Dental stairs. Fact someone a young man about 40 years old. The staircase was so dark that he fell and broke his foot.

“Quite a pleasant stay which could have been better if some issues would have been tackled before my stay”
+The reception staff and even a cleaner were smiling and friendly. The hotel is close to La Rambla and therefore easy to find restaurants and shops. Also they had a sizable mini fridge and you could make your own coffee with free supplies. Shampoo and body soap supplied as well
−I stayed at the only suite they have. The lights in the bathroom were not working and the flooring needs replacement. The toilet was blocked and it took sometime for it to flush the water down. The air con might need to be stronger if it needs to cover the whole suite. It needs renovation

“Top emplacement dans Barcelone !”
+Emplacement exceptionnel en plein coeur de Barcelone avec accès à deux pas de la station métro de Liceu !! Sans le moindre embarras causé par le bruit de la rue durant la nuit malgré la localisation centrale. Personnel gentil et "rangement" de la chambre avec changement journalier de nos draps de bain et chargement du papier toilette automatiquement, ce qui était très appréciable ! Café instantané à disposition lors de notre arrivée en chambre. Nous y avons bien dormi !
−Isolation de la chambre inexistante : suite à une déviation de notre vol d'arrivée, nous sommes restés faire une sieste avant de commencer nos visites. Nous avions l'impression de partager la chambre avec le voisin qui passait ses appels téléphoniques -heureusement, l'hôtel n'est pas bruyant durant la nuit-. Le sol de la salle de bain n'était pas des plus propre -ne semblait pas avoir été lavé-. Le petit sèche-cheveux dans la salle de bain était partiellement déformé par la chaleur et n'inspirait pas trop confiance. La VMC de la salle de bain était rafistolée mais pendait un peu... Un peu vieillot. Malheureusement, nous avons eu droit à une coupure de courant de 2 jours lors de notre séjour. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas bien du tout, la télévision non plus.

“Escapadinha em Barcelona”
+Da simpatia do staff, que foram super disponíveis e simpáticos, e da localização, o hotel é super central, dá para conhecer muita coisa a pé e tem o metro de Liceu super próximo.
−O quarto era muito mais pequeno do que parecia nas fotos, existia um sistema de aquecimento geral que não conseguíamos controlar que tornava o quarto excessivamente quente, tendo que ter aberto a janela durante o dia e noite para tentar arrefecer o ar, de outra forma seria impossível dormir. A nível de limpeza também achamos que era fraca, tendo inclusive encontrado uma barata durante a noite na casa de banho. Cheirava imenso a esgoto, e tivemos que solicitar na receção papel higiénico porque não foi reposto, nem o lixo tirado diariamente. Desta forma, consideramos que a nível de limpeza e conforto deixa muito a desejar.
