“"silverware" the pot noodle scandle”
+Building from outside is good
−Try asking for a fork. They literally look at you and say we can't give you any "silverware" Tried to hand me a cardboard knife to eat a pod noodle with. Then ended up with a teaspoon.

“Clean, comfortable small hotel near Haymarket station”
+Where in Edinburgh it is - very close to the centre
−You had to pay extra for parking, I know Edinburgh is expensive to park, but £15 a day is ridiculous- in a wee car park out front!

“Good value for money.”
+The staff was lovely. Everybody we encountered was kind and polite. We ordered traditional breakfast and it was alright. There was a good selection of other morning foods in the buffet as well like toast, jams, yogurt etc.. I think the value for money is good. Also, the hotel is in a great location.
−I think the room could have been cleaner, specially the bathroom. And overall the spaces look a bit worn out.

“Wonderful place, location, nice breakfast menu to choose from”
+Beautiful old house brought us back in time, nice location close to the city centre, we reached everything on foot. The staff was very kind, they let us keep the bags before checking in and after checking out in the baggage storage, very helpful…

“Poor.”
+The bathroom was clean and good standard. The bedding was old, smelt musty, sheets old did not smell fresh. Room needs updated.
−Bathroom was a good standard. Rooms need refurbished. Bedding very old and smelt. Lock on door did not feel secure. Did not understand why there was a need for photo ID when not from abroad, or payment of £15 for parking. Car park states ‘may be a charge’. Car park was empty. Website where purchased did not advise of this payment.
