“A fablulous charming Inn with a fascinating history. A local gem with an awesome dog, Roy.”
+I loved the staff, Roy, Manager of guest relations and his wonderful team-- Maryna and Kate and Kate's husband. It's a beautiful hotel with lots of history and does and excellent job of sharing the history. The fresh cooked breakfast was the best. By the way, Roy is a dog and one of the world's best.
−My stay ended.

+Nothing like a made to order breakfast! Fresh, hot and nicely presented
−Keeping up with hot tea water. We like a hot cup of tea after or evening out. Alas, the hot water thermos was out

“memorable stay in historic manor house with very friendly staff”
+unique and historic property with extensive grounds. the staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. delicious breakfasts cooked to order each day. we loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and visiting nearby storm king art center. it feels like you are staying at a good friend’s house with all the comforts of home.
−because the manor house is so old and historic there are a few things that are a little bit funky with the layout, and the bathrooms are small.

“Magnificent Mason in beautiful surroundings”
+This place was about the best we have ever stayed at. This house has been renovated magnificiently - having modern comfort AND the charm of yesterday. It not only features many nice little things all around the place but has also a great garden area which can be used. You cannot have a better host than Kate! She does her job with every cell of her heart, is more than eager to help with any wish and takes every measure to give guests any possible comfort during the stay. Not forgetting her cute dog "Roy" who is also taking a great care of guests. ;-) In addition, the breakfast choice is incredible and soooo delicious! Parking is available directly at the house. Unfortunately, we were only staying for a night. But we will certainly be back again!
