“HISTORICAL GEM”
+When we arrived you could smell the history of this 18th century guest house. The hosts (Izzy and Mikey) were exceptional, interesting and polite.
−We enjoyed everything. However, if you're seeking your normal bog standard guest house then it might not be for you as it's rather 'quirky'

“A fantastic stay with a welcoming host, beautiful house and garden - we couldn't have asked for more”
+Ollie was an amazing host - friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. His home is beautiful and full of fascinating history. As there is only one guest room, you are the only visitors, which makes for a very peaceful and personal stay. Our room had its own private shower room, separate toilet and a lovely bathroom overlooking the garden. We had the entire floor to ourselves, giving us plenty of privacy. The garden is absolutely stunning, and one of its highlights is a magnificent vine that is around 175 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
−We had no issues when we were there. Some people may prefer an en suite but it didn't bother us at all.

+Starting even before we arrived, Ollie sent use helpful messages on how to find the property, where to park etc. He is friendly, welcoming and invited us to explore the wonderful gardens. The accommodation is really a suite, with a bedroom, shower room, bathroom and WC. Fantastic breakfast and overall a lovely, comfy stay. Highly recommended.

“A truly special place!”
+It's a very special place, a truly wonderful stay. The gardens and the house immediately gives you calmness and happiness. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked by Ollie. Would recommend a stay at Crofton House, excellent value for money. A very short stroll to the centre of Yarm which is full of nice places to shop, eat, drink and browse.
