“Well appointed and furnished apartment withn very easy reach of the train station”
+Within ten minutes walk of both the railway station - and the bustling Old Christchurch Road area. Pleasant outside garden area at the back of the property.
−Take care lifting your luggage up the stairs if (like myself) you opted for the top floor apartment

“An excellent four night stay in a peaceful place close to the railway station”
+I booked the king size studio number 7 for four nights. I was really impressed with the size of the room, the nicely equipped spacious bathroom and the handy kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable. There was a view out over the garden and the windows let in plenty of natural light. It was also very peaceful. I appreciated the nice little boxes of both toiletries and biscuits, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and a few more items. The room was nice and clean and check in was easy.
−I would have preferred a slightly earlier check in of say 3pm instead of 4pm. Other than that I can’t fault it really.

“Pot Noodles Or Takeout...”
+The Beds were Really Comfy and the little Complimentary Boxes were Cute and Definitely a nice Touch, it's also nice to have the opportunity to sit outside in the Garden - Regardless of the Weather as there was seating on the Grass, but also under a Wooden Structure which was useful when the weather took a turn. The other Benefit was that you could literally walk ten minutes down the road from the Train Station and take a Left and you were Pretty Much at the Property. We had an issue with the Shower Leaking one evening and the Owners got back to us the very next morning with a maintenance person on standby and ready to drop in to help - unfortunately we were out at the time, but those in communication were very polite and understanding and I would presume got the issue taken care of as soon as we'd left the Property at the end of our stay.
−I would perhaps advise Updating a Lot of the Online Visitor Information as We and another Couple were both looking for the Kitchenette which we had both believed was Present, only to discover that upon reading Visitor Questions dated back to 2023, only 6 rooms came with a kitchenette, the rest had just Coffee Making Facilities...We had hoped to maybe find a mini fridge, or a room everyone could share to cook in, but this wasn't the case. We also discovered that the 'Hotel Opposite' which according to the Visitor Questions serves Breakfast has also been derelict for who knows how long, so Sadly that left us relying on the nearby Co-op for Sandwiches and Pot-Noodles as there was nowhere to keep Perishables in the room... (Mayhaps we can suggest a Mini-Fridge for those rooms without access to cooking appliances?) We didn't have a lot of Funding, so Take Out wasn't an option. I did have Great Trouble getting our Luggage up the stairs to Room 12 (as did those staying opposite us) because those stairs are far too narrow to safely carry a Suitcase up - I literally had to stand behind it and Hoof it up a Step at a time, and even that was a struggle... I also feared falling down the turn at

“Clean, comfortable apartment in lovely area”
+Good location. Patio doors to the enclosed garden which was ideal for our small dog. Comfortable bed. Clean accommodation
−Having to wait outside for door code after travelling 5 hours (with a dog).

−It was a little bit far out of town which I guess was good in a way! It made us walk and get our steps in! There was nowhere to put your shampoo & body wash in the shower.

+I liked having the the TV, a Kettle and Fan next to the Bed. The 'complimentary' Biscuits, Tea / Coffee / Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows and Milk Sachets were nice. Also the Toiletries were a nice touch.
−The Bed was damp. I know a damp Bed. The room is in serious need of TLC (Wallpaper was 'bubbling' off the Wall, partially hidden by a Chest of Drawers), chipped Paint work. The Shower unit was dirty / rusty. Is the Bathroom Water suitable for drinking? There was no 'inventory' in the Room. The Light 'pully' in the Bathroom was way too high to reach. Photo's attached - I did take more of the rust / dirt in the Bathroom & the Dirty Toilet Brush / light 'pully'. Having read a review before I travelled, it stated Breakfast was between 8 and 9, I checked prior to my stay & was told 'Breakfast is not provided'. I would have cancelled at this point. The Room was advertised as 'self catering' on their website, but had no Crockery, Cutlery, Toaster or Coffee Maker in it. I rang to ask where the Cutlery & Crockery was only to be told the Room didn't come with any as it was 'not self catering'. Despite it being advertised as 'no Pets', there was a Dog Bowl in the Room (I could have used that I guess for Breakfast) and a Dog Towel. I had received an email Three days prior stating Cutlery and Crockery was available in the Room & they could not make an exception as they "do not have any spare".

+Peaceful, quiet, comfortable location
−The room smells of mold, the carpet is noticeably dirty, the pillows are old and uncomfortable, the pillowcase was a bit dirty when we checked in. For a 4-star hotel, I was surprised that there was no mini fridge.One glass and one teaspoon for two people. The kettle is old and smells like plastic when heated.
