1.0“Shambles, run down, not fit for the public, will cost you an arm and a leg.”
+The family that was looking after the place where lovely very down to earth and helpful. They lacked support from the owner and were chucked in the deep end having to deal with the shambles of the sight we felt bad for them.. The second night we returned after ordering food to be delivered to the bar as there was no kitchen facilities. Once our night was coming to an end after a long day at longleat myself and my partners mum returned to the chalet. We began to get things sorted to get ready for bed and in doing this we noticed insects/bugs all in the bedding we had slept in the night before. The time this was found was getting on for midnight. We looked further round the chalet and it seemed they where in all the beds crawling and jumping around. We highlighted this to the people looking after the places and they could not believe it. We had a 4 hour drive back home at midnight as there was nothing they could do or offer to put us up anywhere else. Since leaving and highlighting this on multiple emails and messages to the owner and asking for a full refund as it was disgusting. He had a conversation with my partner on the phone and they came to a reasonable offer. Since that offer
−When we arrived we where told there was no on site kitchen facilities available due to an issue within the kitchen. This then meant after a 4 an half hour drive we had to then go of site to obtain food/snacks for the duration of our stay. On arrival and checking out the chalet we was staying in I had become itchy and irratable so i thought I would use the shower facilities after sitting in a car for hours to freshen up while my partner and his mum went of site to aldi. I went into the shower to find that there was no hot water and they where all freezing. So I packed all my stuff up again and returned to the chalet. While standing in the chalet the owners friends walked passed so I asked if they could let me know when the hot water will be on thinking this is the issues as to why the kitchen was not open. But I was informed that the showers where on a different system and there should be running hot water. The bloke went into the showers and was testing them all and it came across as if it is a regular occurrence that the showers need constant maintenance. I finally got my shower and my partner and his mum arrived back from aldi. We also had to wait for our gas canister to be able

8.0“We will definitely be back”
+We had a wonderful stay here! The owner is incredibly lovely, approachable, has a big heart, and truly cares about his guests. His main priority is simply making sure everyone has the best possible experience during their stay. He openly acknowledges the areas he wants to improve, and it’s wonderful to see that all revenue is directly reinvested into upgrading the business. Nothing was too much trouble; he was always on-site or available on the phone. He kindly offered to cook us dinner when we arrived late, he makes a great bacon sandwich for breakfast, and, due to personal reasons, he even offered to upgrade us from a tent to a cabin at very short notice. The cabin bed was incredibly comfortable,I slept significantly better here than in a hotel the week before! For a campsite, it has absolutely everything you need. There is a great clubhouse with a pool table and darts, a dedicated BBQ area, a kids' play area, and a clean shower and toilet block. It was incredibly convenient for our trip to Longleat. If you want a campsite run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests, this is the place to go.

10.0“Perfect mini break!”
+The site is located in a rural area with gorgeous views and a very chilled atmosphere. The tent was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. We were provided with lights and power packs which were a real help! Toilets and showers were clean and close by. Paddy the owner made sure everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The clubhouse was a real highlight in the evening with free pool, darts and table football. 100% recommend this place and already planning our next visit!
−Nothing!

6.0“Disappointing”
+It looked beautiful at night with all the lights and the bouncy castle was great
−Just to note. Patrick was away when we stayed here and I'm sure it would've been better if he was there. We arrived and our tent did not look like the pictures, I was ok with that. There were lots of solar lights chucked on the floor around our tent and then I realised that the bedding hadn't been changed after the last guests. It was very dirty. It did get changed for us. We were then told that there was no breakfast available, I wish we had been told so I could've made sure my kids had breakfast for the morning. I booked this camping site because of the facilities for the kids but we had asked on and off for a few hours for the bouncy castle to be turned on. We were told that the people running the campsite needed to go home for some stuff, that was fine for a few hours but they were gone all day and arrived back at 6pm. They then left again to go to a shop. We had no access to any of the indoor facilities all day and the weather was not great so we ended up having to go out. It kind of defeated the object of why we booked this place. We wanted to be there for a few days and not leave.

1.0“DO NOT BOOK HERE”
+Nothing!
−We made two bookings for two tents.for a special family glamping trip, unfortunately when we arrived we were told that booking.com made a mistake and there was only one tent and a cabin and that the cabin was an upgrade. Later that day we were told it was actually flooded. We're pretty sure the guy managing it just made up a different story every time we asked what was the reason for this. Reluctantly we accepted this even though it was a specially booked glamping trip. The cabin was unfinished, with a broken door handle so the door blew open most the night, no bathroom, chipboard walls, a stove that didn't work, unfinished and unsafe step (basically everything it listed it had it didn't have) Our tent only had beds, no bedding and no furniture. So at 9pm at night we had to go and ask for bedding as our children needed to go.sleep. We have stayed here previously and the tents were really homely before but they have stripped all that out so don't believe the photos! On top when we arrived they said they hadn't had gas for 7 days so no breakfast in the morning. On top of all.this the roof was leaking in the toilet block all.over the toilet and most the toilets do not lock properly. T

1.0“Disappointing and mis -sold”
+Nothing
−The description reads, ‘The chalet features a seating and a dining area, as well as a shared bathroom boasting a walk-in shower’ (a description that remains unchanged). The latter was nailed shut with the services yet to be connected. There was a very basic ablutions block about 100m away, that the owner claims to be the ‘shared toilet’. Having complained via booking.com to recoup hotel expenses paid out for my second night in a hotel due to the mis-selling of the accommodation (I was on my own with 2 kids under 7 and ideally wanted a toilet close), the sight owner refused the request (for £58 from the £250 paid) and booking.com were zero help. Unless you want a very basic camping experience then I’d respectfully go elsewhere.

10.0“A great campsite!”
+The cabin we stayed in was lovely and cozy. There was running water, electricity and everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom wasn’t complete but we knew that prior and the communal toilets and shower area was everything you’d expect for staying on a campsite. On arrival Paddy was there to meet us, he was extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Told us all we needed to know and immediately set up the bouncy castle for the kids and told us that the clubhouse was opening shortly. Very family friendly atmosphere. Food on site at reasonable prices, otherwise many takeaways that deliver to the campsite as well. Great play area for the children which they spent a lot of time in.
−Nothing. Everything was as expected.
