9.0“Quiet stay in pastoral area”
+This lovely and spacious home offers upstairs rooms sharing a bath down the hall. I'd expected a private bath but wasn't a problem. I enjoyed the soft, nice linens. Our room had a lovely view of the pastures surrounding the house.
−It was a little odd that we had a key lock for the bath which meant you need to remove your room key to access bath. Not a problem for us. Unfortunately, the bathtub wasn't in operation when we were there. The shower sufficed. Lighting over the coffee/tea area would be nice. And some plates or napkins to protect cups would be nice.

6.0“Average at best.”
+The property was large, nice gardens and a lovely dog. Bed was comfortable.
−The property is tired and needs maintenance. The water pressure in the basin was very low, the toilet hard to flush, kettle was full of white milky flakes even after rinsing a number of times. Asked for another kettle. Owner said they were new last week and they have a lime problem and that it was fine. Offered to make a coffee with his kettle but we wanted a cup in the morning and our thermos filled. In the end hubby scrubbed it clean. I even asked if they had vinegar to clean it. Kettle also was on a bench with no power point. We had to plug it in on the floor. Room was clean enough but not overly. Only one pillow each provided also. Other reviews said owner was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We did not see this and don’t believe it was anything we said or did.

10.0“Beautiful house in quiet rural location”
+We had a front facing bedroom in this beautiful family home. The room was spacious and light and airy with a very comfortable bed. We stayed for three nights to explore the area and the location was a great base. The bathroom was clean and modern with toiletries provided. Plenty of hanging space and storage. Aiden and his wife made us feel very welcome
−Nothing had a very comfortable stay

4.0“Whilst in room felt imprisoned, couldn't see out of the window and nowhere to sit.”
+Location was good, good recommendations for eating out. Room was clean and modern. We didn't request a quiet room. Ample parking.
−Facilities in room were disappointing: No TV, or radio one small high up velux window (unable to see out). No drinking glass only mugs, tea and coffee but no milk. No chair in room, mirror stood on floor to low to use. Room on 2nd floor, 2 flights of stairs, no carpet on stairs so very noisy. Bathroom no shower pressure and water kept stopping completely, no where to hang towels, no surface to put wash bag , no toilet roll holder, light over sink didn't work. Had to put everything on the floor. Mirror in bathroom low had to crouch. Sink and toilet loose and wobbly. Accommodation had no signage outside from the road. Some attention to detail and thought about customer basic needs could remedy most of these issues, and create a more comfortable stay. Customers should be advised if room on 2nd floor with no window view to the outside. One small window could only see the sky.

6.0+Good pub within a .mile. Parking at the door and premises clean.
−Eircode takes you to next door. Key found unsecured for everybody to access.Twin room in attic, no window only skylight too high to see out of. No chair or TV in room. Bathroom across hall accessible by anyone. Not exactly private!
