+Lovely host, great size room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Quiet location, with free parking.
−I usually prefer a seperate accomodation to the hosts home but Pauline is very friendly but was excellent at allowing my privacy.

“Nice”
+This is a homestay arrangement. The room was cosy and clean. Free use of Netflix. Bathroom was a good size. I slept well. Very quiet environment. Easy parking. Small fridge and an iron and ironing board was provided.
−Could do with small bin in bathroom and long mirror on wall to right of door as you walk in.

“A wonderful home stay”
+I couldn't rate this place higher. Pauline's home stay is an outstanding place to stay and I will definitely stay again. From start to finish Pauline made me feel welcome. The bed is really comfy, there's tea and coffee and little snacks provided for you. The room is a great size with lots of storage space if needed. The bathroom is a wonderful size and the bath / shower has great pressure. How on to Pauline, what a wonderful host and great to talk to. Her sidekick Dolly (St Bernard) is the the cutest ball of fluff.

“It was very pleasant and suitable for my needs, which were simple.”
+I liked the location - I wanted somewhere quiet and it was perfect.
−The room was rather warm, and I could not open the window, so it felt stuffy. I sleep with an open window every night - even in winter. I would have liked a sheet on the area - maybe a list of where to find a pub to eat, local facilities, etc. As I arrived after a long journey up from Bournemouth, I was rather tired and hungry and was hoping a pub nearby would suffice. As it was dark and the lanes full of potholes, I did not fancy venturing out. Just an observation.

+A large, tastefully decorated room with access to an adjoining bathroom (the shower was over the deep bath, which could make stepping in and out of it a little tricky for some guests). The countryside location was quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were large and very soft.
−The main drawback was that this room (which is within the host's house) did not have a lock on the outside of the bedroom door, so there was no way to lock your belongings away when you were out. The second door to the bathroom (leading into the host's hallway) also did not have a usable lock on it. The click-clack basin plug was not the correct size, so the whole thing had to be taken out to allow the water in the basin to drain. There was no hairdryer (though there was a dryer nozzle) and no drinking glass in the room. There was a small fridge in a cupboard, but it was not plugged in when I arrived. Although the bedroom was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had dead flies on the floor (probably due to the very high skylight above the bath), and there was drool from the host's St. Bernard dog all over the bathroom floor. The host had a visitor whilst I was out one day, and I came back that night to find that my belongings had been moved around and jumbled up. Nothing was missing, though the host had put my earrings loose in a drawer, so I could have easily missed them. The tea mug provided (that I'd used the first night) was missing as well.

+Fantastic friendly host. The room is a large, comfortable and clean with attached private use en suite. Quiet location in the countryside but not too far from main towns for a bit of food.
