“A hotel in a great location that should try to 'up its game' somewhat”
+Great location. Concierge staff very good and helpful. Comfortable bed with clean luxurious linen.
−Curtains in bedroom were in bad state of repair, with the backing falling apart. The hotel generally looked tired and not a grand as in the images. Particularly poor was the atrium restaurant. The food was uninspiring and worse still, not at all hot. Staff seemed lethargic and not happy in the restaurant. The rest of the hotel staff were fine. It took us a long time to check out and I wonder if something can be done to improve this service at the busy midday checkout time

+A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Corinthia Budapest. The hotel is grand, beautiful and exceptionally clean, with a stunning lobby and excellent facilities. Although the initial room arrangement on my first night was not ideal, the following day the manager personally showed me alternative rooms and arranged a complimentary upgrade to a fantastic suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with a separate living room, sofa bed, bedroom and two bathrooms. I really appreciated the staff’s efforts to make sure I was happy with my stay. The complimentary access to the Executive Lounge after the upgrade was an especially lovely bonus. The selection of snacks, hot food, soup and drinks was very good, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Royal Spa and swimming pool were also beautiful and relaxing. My only minor concern was that the room felt a little cold in October, as the heating was not switched on automatically. I only discovered at checkout that I needed to ask reception to turn it on. It would be helpful if the heating could be preset during the colder months. Apart from this small issue, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

“Welcoming.”
+The staff were welcoming, and friendly. The lobby was spacious and inviting. The hotel in general was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
−There is room for improvement within the housekeeping. Whilst we enjoyed the stay, the room cleaning wasn’t great, and could certainly be improved.

“100% Worth the stay.”
+I can't say enough wonderful things about Corinthia Budapest. I was here 4 years ago and I came back this time and it's a hotel that is unmatched to many. The rooms are so quiet, the towels are so wonderful, the finishes superb, beds so comfortable, pillows awesome, room cleaners so pleasant and accommodating, front desk personnel knowledgeable and the location great. It's near the best Goulash restaurant and one of the best Gyro restaurants. Come and see for yourself you won't be disappointed in fact it will make your trip. I haven't even said anything about the in-house spa.
−Nothing I didn't like.

“Great, loved the building, staff and our room/ bar/ spa all superb . One complaint, you didn’t find”
+All great, loved the main guy on entry, name begins with M😁
−Yes, the room signage is terrible🙈 We were in room 5106, leaving the lifts going to our room for certainly the first time is not very clear at all. A staff member should trial it like we did, not showing left or right for our room !

“Wonderful stay in the heart of Budapest - great neighborhood and spa experience.”
+Really enjoyed the spa experience and the room was absolutely lovely. The hotel provided a very kind champagne and cake to celebrate a birthday as well.
