“very disappointing”
+the place was very clean.
−didnt relise i had to share the bathroom so had to come out of my room. no normal telly to watch. my bed was so lump it hurt. the quilt had been tumble dried so was all melted so had sharpe bits. and couldnt lock my door from inside so had to jam a chair agaist the bed in case someone tried to come in

−Very disappointing experience - poor communication, failure to honour booking and rude host. 1. Poor self-check-in arrangements On 17 October, I arrived at 5:30 pm, within the advertised check-in hours. Despite advertising self-check-in, the host had not provided the key lockbox code in advance. My calls went unanswered, and I only received the code after arriving, ringing the doorbell and requesting access. This was inconvenient and poorly organised. 2. Failure to honour my confirmed reservation I had booked and paid for a room with a private bathroom from 18-25 October. The previous night, I stayed in a separately booked smaller room with a shared bathroom. On 18 October, the host informed me that another guest would be remaining in my reserved room due to an emergency. She insisted that I continue using the smaller room with a shared bathroom instead, despite my confirmed booking for different facilities. 3. Rude and unprofessional behaviour When I objected to this unacceptable downgrade, rather than apologising or offering a solution, the host became rude and insulting. She claimed that "anyone can use any room in that house" and told me to contact Booking.com for a refund. 4.

“Hidden gem”
+This was a lovely clean and well kept house in Corby. I only stayed one night but it would be great for a longer stay. Very homely feel, In a nice residential area, It isn't central Corby, so if you are walking allow 25 minutes.

+I have stayed at the Corby Guest a couple times and each time my room and facilities were clean and comfortable. I will continue to use The Corby Guest House for this and its very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

“Noisy and loud from inconsiderate guests and room situated badly between communal kitchen and lounge”
+The location was good the whole place was was clean and comfortable nice cleaning lady we didn't meet a owner or receptionist no one to supervise overall running of the place
−The location was spot on the cleanliness was good the room was was fine BUT it was situated between a communal lounge and communal kitchen and the other occupants had no consideration for other guests there was constant loud talking laughing and drinking tv on in lounge at night and clattering in kitchen from early morning 6am also from the room above us people constantly moving around we thought they were coming through the ceiling the place was just left to the guests to do as they like no one in authority there only the cleaner once a day There was no breakfast we had use of coffee

+Lovely to have access to a kitchen and lounge and to have a fridge and microwave in our room. Enjoyed meeting fellow guests.
−Our double bed was a small double which was unexpected. The sink was the tiniest I’ve ever seen!
