“Very nice place and even nicer people”
+The host is lovely and you meet a lot of nice people there. They arrange the tour to Tumpak Sewu without problems and because it starts at 5.30 you get there earlier than most other visitors. It’s very uncomplicated. Also there’s are earrings nearby if you walk a little so food is no problem (if you have the stomach for it :D). You get a very lovely stay for a very cheap price.
−This is just for awareness: It is very in nature so you will meet some little insect guests and mosquitoes. If you’re bothered by that bring a net. There are chickens, dogs, a mosque and a street nearby as well as people leaving at ungodly hours for Bromo or Sewu so if you wake easily bring some noise canceling. This is the peak backpacker experience for people looking for a hotel with pool go somewhere else!

“Feeling home in Medang”
+- Vico and his wife are amazing! Super welcoming, and supporting. The tours they offers are amazing, week organized and competitive in price respect to the competitors. The wife take care also of the food: DELICIOUS. I tried almost everything on the menu and was super tasty! - dorms are confy and clean - bathrooms clean with hot water - kitchen and fridge availables (always useful) - nice garden as sharing area - refillable water and free coffee and tea - the hostel is quote dar from the city but the service and the calm it offers worth it

−I stayed in a private room, the toilet is right next to it, so you can hear when other ppl go there… should be more soundproof

“Excellent”
+The location, breakfast was very good, Vico is always there to help, the local tours both to waterfalls and Patrick for the Bromo tour were simply excellent. They did really well. I had passion fruit tasted yumm grown in their garden. Their cat is very cute too and the family is very helpful.
−The shower speed could be better and kettle automatic it was manual though minor. But shower speed definitely needs to be better.

“Nice retreat close to Malang with friendly host”
+The atmosphere of the hostel is nice, especially with the green garden and fresh fruits growing there. The host Vico is really nice and extremely helpful. I was especially impressed by the quality of the organised tour that I booked through the hostel. Everything was arranged really well.

“Lovely hostel with amazing hosts and tours!”
+Vico and his wife, Wiwin, are such lovely hosts! They are so friendly and helpful, and the food that they cook is so delicious too. We organised a 1-day tour with them to Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu which was amazing! We stayed in the private room which was cosy.
−No complaints from us! However, if you are a light sleeper then bring ear plugs with you because the hostel has connections to outdoors, including the rooms, so it is not soundproof and you can hear everything.

+Sehr einfaches und liebevoll gestaltetes Hostel bei einer super netten Familie. Vico und seine Frau sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, mit denen man jederzeit ins Gespräch kommen konnte :) Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt und habe auch die Tour zum Wasserfall von dort gebucht, welche hervorragend war.
−Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Malang (ca. 20 min mit Mototaxi)

+Lepszego miejsca na pobyt nie mogliśmy sobie wymarzyć! Bardzo komunikatywni właściciele tworzą rodzinny klimat tego miejsca, podczas pobytu można poczuć się jak w domu. Na miejscu dostępne przepyszne śniadania i obiady, dostaliśmy również smoothie i owoce z domowego ogródka. Polecam skorzystać z wycieczek organizowanych przez obiekt. Właściciele dokładają wszelkich starań, abyśmy mogli cieszyć się wycieczką, jeszcze przed tłumem pozostałych turystów. Wycieczka na Bromo to było niesamowite przeżycie. Serdecznie polecam ten hostel i na pewno jeszcze tu wrócę gdy nadarzy się okazja 😊

+Les hôtes sont super accueillants et l'endroit excentré est agréable pour faire une pause hors de la ville. Le prix est imbattable mais il est vrai que les installations sont en mauvais état.
