“Lovely Stay - Definitely Recommend”
+We had a 2 night stay, though wanted to stay longer. The Compton House was lovely. We explored the grounds and loved the garden seating area. Patricia was very welcoming and made us feel at home. She was soo accommodating. We had access to the rest of the house which was like being in Bridgerton. Room was clean and cosy. Homemade fruit compote for breakfast with breakfast made to order. Great selection of fruit, yogurt and teas. Very well located for visiting Cheddar, Axbridge and Wells. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

+Such a lovely place to stay, the house is so interesting. Patricia the owner made us feel really welcome and the standard of everything provided was very high. Everything we could have asked for was provided, so many little touches which showed care and attention to detail. Great breakfast with lots of local produce and really comfortable room.

+The house was beautiful and the host fabulous. The location is really good too only being a few miles away from Cheddar and 12 miles away from Western Super Mare. There's a couple of pubs in the medieval square that sell good food and only a 5 minute walk from Compton House.
