“Basic hotel, no frills”
+Friendly staff, decent breakfast, great area- convenient to everything. Working elevator for 3 floors, didn't have to wait long. Good air conditioner and nice rooms.
−Maid service is only every third day and they only replace towels and take out trash. No changing beds or cleaning room. They have a skeleton cleaning crew and they all look way over worked. Hotel must hire more people and offer daily service with the prices they charge.

“Just ok. Location great. Staff just ok. AC in room not good. Ice machine did not work on our floor”
+I like the location.
−AC was bad. Had one hot night. Could not get it to work. Staff was very nonchalant and uncaring when told of the problem. Ice machine did not work on our floor third floor and it was very inconvenient to hunt down ice

“Not a good experience due to the smell. WiFi was down. phone was not in use either to call the”
+Didn’t eat breakfast. Good location.
−Smells like mold in carpets w/i room. A/C blowing out a moldy musty smell. Not fresh AT ALL! Toilet behind lid where screws are located were yellow from urine as if they’ve never been cleaned around the screws where urine accumulates. Bed very comfortable along w/bedding.

“Would I stay here again probably not but there wasn’t much to choose from in Brenham”
+The lady at check in was polite and helpful.
−The hotel needs a serious update. It’s old and worn from the lobby to the rooms. We had to change rooms right after check in because the first room smelled due to old moldy food left in the fridge. Second room had a similar situation with leftovers but didn’t have the terrible smell. Only one bed was made after the first night, not a huge deal but why make one and not the other. Bathroom floor was soaked after a shower since the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed.

“ABSOULTELY TERRIBLE! DISGUISTING!”
+The location was great! It was right in the middle of the shopping areas such as grocery stores (HEB, Walmart), and all of the restaurants and fast food.
−The rooms were absolutely disgusting. The check in process was very smooth. However, when we first arrived to our room, I noticed that one of the beds was not made and had stains. The other bed was made up, but also appeared dirty with stains. There was a huge dark spot on the ceiling above the beds, and the room smelled like mold. After further investigation it was confirmed that it appeared to be black mold. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone was busy. I went straight to the front desk, and reported the beds. I asked if there was someone available to change the sheets, and was told that they did not have any housekeepers come in for work that day which made me think that the beds were in fact dirty. I asked if it was possible to have the sheets changed, and the woman at the front desk said that there was no one available, but she could give me sheets, and I can change my own sheets. I then asked if there was another room available because I did not want to touch the dirty sheets with someone else's stains/fluids after attending sports events in the heat, and traveling almost 2 hours in the car. I was told that there were not any rooms available, and there was nothing s

+The staff was kind. The beds were comfortable.
−The rooms smelt musty. The building interior needs a good cleaning and update. The carpet felt damp.
