“peaceful space in the middle of busy city”
+The apartment was beautifully furnished and super nice. Spacious rooms, nice bathrooms. We loved the small pool, although water was freezing . The location was also good, we used tuk tuk to move around.
−many bugs could get inside through the door (even when closed).

+Everything was great: super clean, nice, spacious. We got a free upgrade of the room which was very nice. The staff is super responsive, totally recommend for a comfy stay-you wouldn’t want to leave!

“Luxury and comfort for a great price . Amazing value !!”
+Excellent property . One of the very best we have stayed in Sri Lanka . You can see that the owners have put a lot of thought into the area for comfort . Kitchenette was very well equipped. Bathroom spacious with a great shower . Lighting was well thought off . Towels and linen were luxurious . We ended staying indoors a whole day as it was so comfortable !!

“A peaceful and relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of colombo.”
+I’ve really enjoyed my stay here, it’s quiet and relaxing but also convenient for trips into town. I had a really clean and modern room that never felt uncomfortable. There is lots of green space and light outside and a nice sized pool. I opted to have breakfast which was great as well. The owners were warm and welcoming throughout my stay and were happy to answer my questions about exploring Colombo. They were also kind enough to recommend some transport providers for a trip to Sigiriya. I would really recommend Colombo Villa as a relaxing base in Colombo!

+What I really liked about the property was how clean everything was. I had my own private space and it honestly felt like having my own little house. It was very cozy, with a small balcony where I could sit at the table and comfortably do my office work. The internet was fast, the food was good, and overall the place felt calm and welcoming. The pool and garden was the highlight. On top of that, the owners were lovely people, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

+Cleanliness, hospitality of the hosts...very warm and personable. Interior decor of the property especially the common areas were impressive. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable. The chef was unavailable the day I stayed so cannot comment on food service but that aside everything was a 10/10 .Be selective on room size depending on your stay requirements. The single rooms are ideal for solo travellers. The larger rooms for couples or families are very spacious. I will be visiting again.

“Like staying with friends at a gorgeous, peaceful oasis”
+Staying at Colombo Villa Collection felt like being in a little (and beautifully designed) slice of home. The hosts were so helpful- they accommodated our request for a late check out, giving us tips about travel and we had many great conversations with them. And the housekeeping staff was around instantly to help with every request. It was like living with friends rather than staying at a hotel. I will definitely consider coming back and using their quiet home as a launching pad for trips around the country. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, Ruki and Rohan!

“Not worth the money”

−I really liked the convenience of Colombo Villa Collection and genuinely wanted to enjoy our stay, but unfortunately, it wasn’t what we were looking for. We ended up checking out early and requested a partial refund. The owner was willing to accommodate us, which we appreciated, but it was tricky because it was Christmas Day, and finding alternate accommodation was difficult. We had booked a specific room, but the property “upgraded” us to a bigger room without properly communicating it. In practice, it wasn’t what we wanted we were placed next to a garage beneath a larger unit, and we could hear every footstep from the tenants above, plus constant traffic noise and people talking at night. The bathroom kept flooding, and some listed amenities were missing, which made the stay stressful. Overall, the stay didn’t feel like good value for money, it genuinely felt like we were just thrown into a room that wasn’t great. While the location is convenient and the staff were willing to help, this “upgrade” didn’t meet our expectations and made what was supposed to be a happy stay disappointing.

+The property is very clean as it is showed in the pictures. Washroom is equipped of a very nice soap. Beds are comfortable and the building is in a very quiet place. The manager is kind and makes everything to feel you comfortable.
