+Cozy little room with both a/c and ceiling fan, available coffee and tea to make by yourself and a mini fridge with beverages at extra cost. Convenient location
−The only inconvenience is the showroom that has no borders and just splashes the toilet and the floor

“Review of Cold River hotel in”
+I cannot think of anything negative to say about this hotel. The hotel staff, the rooms, the shower the bed,,,, seriously everything was perfect. One of the real advantages to this hotel it's location. We were able to wak to the night market and climbed up to a nearby wat and get a panoramic view of the city. Walking toward the river are tons of restaurants with all very good food.

“In this location, there are many better value options available.”
+The place was relatively quiet, and the breakfast was good. The property seems to have a few renovated rooms, which probably explains the overall rating.
−Unfortunately, the room I received was not one of them. It was not consistent with the listing: the mattress was extremely hard, some equipment was broken, the hot water system was unreliable, and the internet was unusable. The terrace was poorly maintained, and the overall condition of the room was disappointing.

+The room was very cozy, the breakfast was delicious
−One of our friend has accidently forgotten the jacket in the room, I have written to the apartment afterwards and the stuff said that there was no jacket which is not true.

“Bait and switch, but a nice breakfast.”
+It is in a nice location off the main road, easily walkable. Water refill stations available and a great breakfast.
−This hotel is a bait and switch unfortunately, and when confronted with the proof the property manager blamed booking for false advertising. There is only 1 room that has a partial view of the river, which is largely obstructed by adjacent buildings now. I paid for the deluxe double room with balcony and view of the river, only to be put on the ground floor next to the lobby looking at the side of a building. The rooms are poorly insulated from noise, to the point where I heard the night staff snoring in the lobby. Despite paying for the deluxe balcony room I was told they were oversold, and only offered a discount for 1 of the 2 nights I had to spend on the ground floor looking at a building wall. When I attempted to get the room I reserved at checkin, both the property manager and booking took turns blaming each other for over 3 hours and then my reservation was cancelled on the app. I was able to stay, and after 2 nights given the room I paid for in theory, but again, no real view of the river as advertised as the hotel is behind other buildings. While trying to figure out how my reservation was oversold, a couple also arrived for checkin and were ultimately given another ground
