“Great spot on the Vaal with spacious rooms and a beautiful setting”
+location was perfect and the surrounds are good with well kept gardens that are very pleasant. The rooms are a good size. This was perfect for our stay
−Access is difficult as there is no intercom. The rooms are in need of some light tlc. The room did not have a hairdryer ? The sockets at the bedside are limited. Breakfast was good however tinned fruit salad is not expected at a lodge. Our room - the family room facing the pool was a little noisy with upstiars movement.

“Half good and half bad”
+The room was clean
−The room did not have a mini bar fridge, we had to drink hot water, even our drinks were hot. Cereals was there but no fresh milk, especially for corn flakes. We had to have toasted dry bread without any spreading.

“I would have loved the place more, and I'm willing to return, if they could see to the essentials”
+It is situated in a beautiful area, just next to the river. That is a bonus.
−For the price, one would expect a bar fridge, microwave, heater or elctric blanket. None were there.
