“Extremely disappointing experience - Deposit still not returned after 3 weeks”
−I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at The Clevelander Hotel. From the moment we arrived to check in, the service was disappointing. The female receptionist was unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming, barely acknowledging us. Apparently, collecting the $200 deposit was the only thing that mattered. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and stayed in many hotels, including for much longer periods, and the deposit has usually been between $50 and $100. Nevertheless, I had no problem paying the $200 deposit, as I was assured it would be refunded to my card within 3-7 days after check-out. It has now been over three weeks, and I still have not received my money back. I have contacted the hotel three times regarding this issue. After my second complaint, they finally responded a few days later, apologized, and promised to do their best to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. However, nothing happened. I contacted them again after some time, and they completely ignored my message. This is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Delays can happen, but ignoring a guest who is simply trying to recover their own money is inexcusable. A hotel should
