+Check-in instructions were provided. The location is very convenient, with a shop just around the corner and the bus and train stations within walking distance.
−The towels provided were damp and not fully dry. It would be great if housekeeping could make sure towels are completely dry before putting them in rooms. The toilet had a weak flush. The pipes/boiler also made a lot of noise whenever water was in use, and it was clearly audible in room B. The bathroom is shared, and our toiletries bag was removed to a locked store room by housekeeping while we were out, so I’d advise guests not to leave their toiletries there while they’re away. The day after checking out, we developed bites on our faces and bodies that consistent with bed bug bites. We didn’t inspect the bed on arrival, so I can’t confirm the cause, but I’d recommend future guests check the bed and mattress seams when they arrive.

+It's clean and comfortable. And there is easy street parking right outside. There is a lift so you don't have to trek up the stairs.
−Another blanket would be good, or a way to turn on heater in bedroom ? I was a little chilly, doubled over the duvet and used towels as an extra blanket ! Some teabags &/or coffee would be good. There was some hot chocolate in the pantry - so all was OK ! I had brought milk, but kinda expected there might be some teabags ?

“Terrible from start to finish.”
+Kitchen was ok
−A warning to guests: Simply the worst experience I've had in hundreds of bookings on here. The parking is NOT as simple as claimed. Only after paying do you get a message vaguely mentioning parking in certain slots to avoid clamping. These were all taken, and the hosts were totally rude disinterested in helping me. I spent two hours late in the evening finding a solution. Neighbours told me the hosts are 'a known problem'. The listing is inconsistent and misleading - only one of the rooms has a private bathroom. The shared bathroom is in terrible condition and constantly damp. The basin doesn't drain. The bedroom ceiling light didn't work. Old and dated linens. The general finish of the apartment is tired, v noisy and poorly maintained. Awful service and awful owners.

“Was erg vies. In de badkamer haren in zeepbakje”
+Het was een rustige wijk, bakkertje om de hoek voor ontbijt
−Kleine kamer, geen 2 x 1 persoons bed
