“Great location, room a bit disappointing”
+Fabulous location. Close to everything we wanted. Parking was a real bonus
−The quilt was very thin, so it was a cold night. No glasses in the room, but there were mugs & a fridge. Carpet was very tired. Also no full length mirror. Sash window was drafty.

+Location to all amenities,bars and restaurants was fantastic as everything just a very short walk
−We were wet through as walked from train station in rain. Could not get heating or towel rail to work to dry our stuff and get warm. Spoke to contact and no help at all just told me to do what I already had before calling him. Had to get warm by getting in bed. After got back that night from the theatre the heating was on but a bit late. Towel rail still not working.Reading lights didn’t work.

“Horrendous rooms!”

−Everything else! Really surprised at the other reviews as this was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Nothing like the images online.Just really cheaply done. The bed was so sloped we had to sleep with our feet at the headboard. Awful bedding, ancient cheap grubby bed, the thinnest smallest towels I have ever seen. And one was covered in make up!! Dirty carpet and so much noise from both the road and neighbouring room. Bathroom light wouldn't switch off. I could go on. Ridiculous for the £135 we paid for the night. Worth about £60. We honestly didn't want to stay but had no option. So wish we had booked the Travelodge instead.

+Room larger than expected, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed and water pressure and shower great. Near to eateries. We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Communication with staff not face to face but if you follow directions given exactly should be ok. The turn to the car parking from the main street is next to what looks to be a church. We could open windows.
−Finding it was a bit tricky you just need to follow the directions clearly. No view as such but that was fine.

−how to get in from car park. the rear surroundings. not enough milk on tea tray. no venders or anything on site for water etc woken up in early hours by lost guest twice. no one on site to help. ok if you are with a man. but would not recommend for women on there own. felt a bit vulnerable.
