“Cheap but far from cheerful”
+The apartment has a nice terrace and free parking downstairs. It was located next to a street with shops and cafés, about 10 minutes' walk downhill to the beach and 15 minutes' walk to the old town.
−We booked what was advertised as 'room with balcony and sea view', avoiding the other 'room with shared bathroom' option. It wasn't clear that all the rooms in fact shared the same bathroom. This bathroom was dirty with sand all over the floor. While there was a sign asking guests to keep the bathroom clean, it should be the responsibility of the owner to maintain it. The bed was old and creaky, and far too big for the small room. We kept banging our legs on the bedframe as we walked past (due to the proximity of the table) and had to cover it with a cushion ourselves to avoid future injuries. The owner often 'crossed paths' with us and started chatting (usually while our taxi was waiting downstairs), once wearing only a towel, which was inappropriate. What he was trying to pass off as friendliness frankly came across as intrusive. On two occasions he asked us to stop slamming the terrace door - we tried closing it gently but the door in question was too stiff and impossible to shut without force. “Beautiful room and warm welcome”
+We with my daughter really enjoyed our stay here. The room was stylishly decorated, cozy, and had a beautiful sea view with amazing sunrises. The host was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The location was perfect - just a 5-7 minute walk from the beach and the Old Town, with local bus stops nearby. There are also several shops, including SPAR, as well as bars and local cafes just two minutes away. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again!

+The apartment was kept clean. The location, very close to the old town and beach-about a 15min leisurely walk or 10mins walking normaly. The owner-Tom, nice guy and lives in the apartment so any issues he is always there, we didnt have any issues. Self catering so the shops being a 2 minute walk down the road was perfect.
−It is a 4 bedroom apartment and is located on the the 4th floor (top floor), stairs are the only way up. Only 2 bathrooms/toilets, and neither have windows so there was always a slight smell. Only 1 room has a balcony

+We had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed this room. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel comfortable and welcoming. The host was very friendly, communicative, and always happy to help. Check-in was easy, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

“A lovely, comfortable stay in the heart of Albufeira Old Town with a great host , I’d definitely come back! ❤️”
+I had a really lovely stay here! The apartment is located right in the center of Albufeira Old Town, so everything is within walking distance , the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main areas. Even though it’s so central, the place is surprisingly quiet, so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can also get fresh shower and beach towels whenever you need them, which was really convenient. There are two bathrooms, a clean and comfortable room, and a kitchen. The owner, Artem, is a lovely guy and was always willing to help with anything. He gave great recommendations and suggestions and made me feel very welcome. For a moment, it honestly felt like home. Pros: Great central location, very clean, quiet, two bathrooms, comfortable room, kitchen, and a helpful and friendly host. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to friends or anyone visiting Albufeira!
−Cons: The apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift, so the stairs can feel like a lot if you’re not used to them. But it wasn’t a problem for me, and in the Old Town, many buildings don’t have lifts anyway.

+Location was very good. Room was spacious with lots of storage and good AC
−Does not explain the full situation of the house. You are sharing a small apartment with basically a very strict house sitter with 2 other rooms full with other guests, there is basically a curfew on you, you must text before you bring a guest, no guests after 11(not clearly advertised), he is always there, quite nosey and bossy, plenty of notes for not banging doors etc. no real cooking facilities or pans, no general area, only bathroom, kitchen, bedroom.

“Hezké ubytování s příjemným hostitelem, ale čistota bohužel zklamala”
+Ubytování má několik velkých plusů - pokoje jsou hezké a prostorné, dům je celkově klidný a nabízí pěkný výhled. Hostitel byl velmi milý, dobře komunikoval, všechno nám vysvětlil a ukázal a z jeho strany bylo vše naprosto v pořádku.
−Co nám ale bohužel výrazně zhoršilo celkový dojem, byla čistota společných prostor. Kuchyň působila velmi neudržovaně - nebyla čistá pracovní plocha ani lednice, koš zapáchal a zůstávalo tam neuklizené nádobí. Také koupelna by potřebovala důkladnější úklid, zejména koupelnové předložky. I na pokoji byly špinavé předložky a některé věci, například kelímky na stole, nebyly čisté. Rozumíme, že ubytování sdílí více hostů a určitý nepořádek mohou způsobit sami, ale pravidelná údržba společných prostor je podle nás důležitou součástí péče o ubytování a tady nám bohužel chyběla. Co se týče hluku, většinu času byl dům klidný, jen občas se v noci vraceli lidé z večírků a byli poměrně hluční - to ale samozřejmě není úplně pod kontrolou hostitele. Celkově tedy příjemný hostitel, hezké pokoje, klidné prostředí a pěkný výhled, ale čistota společných prostor bohužel za nás nebyla na úrovni, kterou bychom očekávali, zvlášť vzhledem k ceně ubytování.

−KEINE EMPFEHLUNG Installierte Überwachungskamera in der Küche Die Gäste standen unter permanenter Kontrolle vom Vermieter. Er wohnte in der gleichen Wohnung. Der Vermieter zeigte Sachen die eigentlich selbstverständliche waren, z.B. wie das Herd nach der Benutzung zu reinigen war, wie die Eingangstür zu öffnen und abzuschließen war. Wir haben die Küche nach der Benutzung sehr gut gereinigt. Unmittelbar nach Verlassen der Küche (nicht länger als 10min) war der Vermieter in die Küche gekommen. Er hat die Kochplatte nochmals geputzt.
