+Hosts are just wonderful local people, they do everything they can to make sure you feel home. It was really heart warming receiving that treatment. Room is enormous and bed is comfy, there is a nice terrace to have breakfast to with a magnificent nature view.
−Unfortunately, wifi was not working during my stay and it was a bit of a bummer. Anyhow, aside from this it was all perfect

+Everything was more than excellent. It’s really spacious place, neat and clean with a balcony and as well additional terrace and the view from here is splendid. Close from the city center, it’s very calm and peaceful place, no noise at all. Initially we booked this place for 3 nights but later went on extending it for more 4 nights.

“Beautiful homestay in Kandy”
+Cielo Residence is a lovely and authentic homestay run by one of the nicest Sri Lankans we have met during our trip. The place is very peaceful and quiet, yet still very close to Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth. The bedroom is very spacious, with a balcony offering a beautiful view. It is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka. For breakfast, you can choose between an English or a Sri Lankan breakfast. We tried the Sri Lankan one: it was delicious, generous, and not too spicy. Thank you very much for your warm welcome. We wish you all the best!

+The accommodation is very nice, located in the mountain, with a great view and it’s very quite too. The family who runs the place is so lovely and kind. We really enjoyed our stay there.

“Cielo residence is a lovely place to stay in Kandy”
+The Cielo Residence is a lovely place to stay in Kandy. Our room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. We also had our own fridge and kettle which was nice. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and welcoming and they offer lovely breakfasts. Kandy is a lively city so it was really nice to come back to a quiet apartment with a nice roof terrace to enjoy our evenings. The location of Cielo residence is a bit higher up on the hill from the city so it was very peaceful but means you will probably be getting tuktuk too and from the accommodation (but these are usually cheap and easy to get).

+We had a lovely stay! The room was huge and had everything you could need. The hosts were so so kind and thoughtful and went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. A delicious breakfast too.
