+After a 12 hour flight and a two hour taxi ride my friend and I arrived at the Chitra to be met by the only staff member working who spoke zero English. After a lot of two and fro we spoke to a lady on the phone who was in Bangkok who said they had no record of our booking and could we show proof but as there was no internet we were unable to. She said that they would let us stay and we were taken to two basic rooms (bearing in mind I had booked a suite). I was approached by a lady when I was in the pool on the Tuesday who asked my room number and when I answered she said “you are in the wrong room” - I replied saying “yes I know” so she gave me the key to my proper room and I went and repacked and moved - no help from them by the way. The suite was a actually very nice apart from having no water from the tap in the bathroom sink so had to walk through to the kitchen to wash my hands every time I used the bathroom - reported to them Tuesday afternoon - not looked at by the time i checked out on the Friday - may still not be working now for all o know? All in all, not happy with the whole experience and really not happy that I paid for five nights on a suite and only stayed in it fo

“Disappointing”
+I had a pool room with no access to the pool we had to jump in and clamber out the Wi-Fi reception was appalling. When we got there there was no record of our booking. They just gave us any old room until the owner spoke to us and they were in Bangkok so no one there to greet us two days later we got our allocated rooms.

“In room services”
+What could be improved that would make your stay Better. A hot water boiler in the room would be nice we farang love our cups of tea. I am not suggesting the hotel provides tea and coffee as those items are readily available from the 7 Eleven or Big C which are just down the road but, the hot water boiler and a couple of cups would be appreciated. Investment in better Internet connection. Although WiFi is available in all areas the speed is woefully slow. For those that like to stream movies or work from their room they will find this speed not fast enough or reliable In room telephones. This one not be possible due to cost but rooms do not have a telephone in them which would allow occupants to communicate between rooms. This would be extremely useful for families who may not be in rooms next to each other or indeed in the same floor. It would also be useful to be able to contact reception should there be an issue in neighbouring rooms

“Not worth the money!”
+There were ants in the bed with me. Cockroaches on the wall. The A/C leaked the whole time. I was not happy at all with my stay. I have no plans to stay here again.
