“An enjoyable hotel with a true Portugal feel.”
+The staff and managers at the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure we and our visitors were taken care of. Also, the freshly made breakfast and comfortable dining area were great. We will stay there again when were are in Lisbon. This hotel is located in a very walkable and safe area, near restaurants, shops, transportation, and community gathering areas. We loved that!
−There is no elevator, which posed a challenge walking up several flights of stairs for our family members traveling with us. It may also be a problem for a family with small children. But it was no problem for my wife and me.

+A terrific location within walking range to most of the key sites , but get in shape before you experience the hills of Lisbon!
−Our room was on the top floor , with many steps and no elevator.

“Great stay!”
+Hotel had a lot of character and service was excellent.
−Although we were aware that there was no elevator, being on the last floor was tougher than expected. Especially when carrying the suitcases. The staff offered to help though.

+Great location and rooms were very clean. Just very tiny and up 5 flights of stairs (no lift).
−Felt it was way over priced for the value.

“Exceeded our expectations and would stay again!”
+Location is excellent. Room was large, quiet, and we loved the style of decorating. The staff (especially Barsha) went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was delicious.
−Our only complaint was the flat pillows and no mattress pad cover. We did ask for more pillows the last night and that helped a lot.

“Cute historic hotel conveniently located. Friendly, strong and warm staff and good breakfast.”
+Well located in a charming historic area
−There is no elevator, so you have to bring your luggage by the stairs, or get help from the amazing staff. Not a big deal and it is expected in an ancient building.

“Friendly, Central and Good Value”
+5 minutes from Baixa Chiado this was a premium location with the most friendly staff I have met in a long time. The room was perfect to use as a rest stop, the location facilitating being out most of the time. Proximity to the water, Pharmacia, a fixed lunch place, the metro and Auchan supermarket
−No lift
