“I was here with family and we all enjoyed. Fresh cooked continental breakfast, friendly and respectful staff.”
+Super clear and homelike environment.
−There is none. They only had Bed and Breakfast but if they can start also the restaurant that would be exceptional.

“Overall experience was pretty amazing.”
+I had a wonderful 10-day stay at Chef House Resort in Kathmandu. The location is very convenient, only about 15 minutes from the airport and roughly 30 minutes from most of the major tourist attractions, which made getting around the city very easy. The host, Sanjeev Rayamajhi, was absolutely phenomenal and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. He even made a special exception to arrange an early breakfast for me, which I truly appreciated. The property itself was very clean and well maintained. They also offer a reliable laundry service, which was very helpful during a longer stay. The WiFi worked quite well, making it easy to stay connected. Overall, I had a very comfortable and pleasant experience and would definitely recommend Chef House Resort to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

“Good accommodation overall, but the room was overpriced and in need of updating.”
+The place was fairly quiet, and most staff members were friendly. There’s also a great café next door with a friendly, professional barista.
−The shower is outdated and doesn’t work properly. The Wi-Fi is unreliable and unsuitable for online work. The room was overpriced for what was provided. One staff member who prepared breakfast consistently came across as grumpy and unfriendly.

“Little paradise and exceptional food”
+The Chef House Resort is an exceptional place in Kathmandu! We enjoyed the spacious room, the hot shower which worked flawlessly all the time, the high-quality food, including lunch/dinner and the continental breakfast which was included in our booking. The location is great for visiting the big Stupa and the famous Hindu temple. Just on the other side of the road there is a new and modern supermarket, very convenient. The airport is also not far away (20minutes with a taxi for ~4€). We can highly recommend this little oasis in Kathmandu which allows you to relax from the sometimes chaotic, dusty and loud city 😊
