“Unhappy stay for my wife's birthday.”
+The Bath Racecourse that we could see from the pub garden. The local Bitter was nice.
−The room was dark and dusty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. The view from our window was of a wooden shed where the linen etc was stored. The price of food was expensive and very limited choice for someone with allergies. The same venue all week and not what you would call pub food. I think they are trying to be a fine dining pub.

“Great few days in a brilliant Inn”
+I liked the plated breakfast but did not like the streaky bacon as I don't like fat. A minor point and didn't affect my enjoyment of the breakfast. The location of the hotel is really good with free parking and only about a mile to a really good park and ride into Bath. The staff were great, really friendly and attentive
−The toilet seat in the wet room was very loose and although we reported it twice it was not fixed while we were there. We were worried about it slipping

+V good location for visiting Bath as it is within walking distance of the Landsdowne park and ride
−Nothing. Very impressed with everything.

“Staff were excellent, would definitely stay again.”
+Our accommodation was not in the main Inn but in an external block which was relatively new. It was fabulous and would definitely stay again. The Charlcombe Inn is about 15 minute walk from Lansdown Park and Ride which ran every 15 minutes into Bath.
−The only constructive comment I can make is that the evening menu and continental breakfast options was limited

−Damp smelling room and bathroom black mould marks on slopping ceiling above toilet and pain peeling off in places.
