“Don't waste your money.”
+The location was an easy walk to town. Parking was available.
−This was misrepresented on Booking.com and we felt very ripped off, paying over $400/night for what is a one-star motel. The room was dank and smelled of must and mold and there was only one window to open on the ground floor; we could not stay there. The hot tub and pool looked like they had not been cleaned in months, yet the place charges a "resort fee." There was plastic hanging out from the mattresses and it was unclear whether sheets were clean. Breakfast looked very minimal; bagels were left out all day.

“A financially rapping for a good natured customer who should not have been charged $1200 because no other room in town w”
+The location was the only benefit as I needed to be close to town but you charged me @ $1,200 for two nights! Unacceptable!
−Everything! The room was poorly and cheaply decorated and too small for the money I spent . The sheets felt old and the toilet bowl had a ring. Unacceptable for the charge! How can you live with charging me so much? The microwave was near the sink? The premises were broken and old on the inside. No office staff when I arrived and no one, I said , “no one” answered the phone when I called for help …finally someone showed up,

“Clean but overpriced.”
+Room was clean. Convenient location in Ojai.
−Bed was very high. They had a stool which my wife used to get in and out of bed. I’m 6-5 and had trouble climbing in and out of bed. The bathroom sink faucet was loose and installed too far back from sink bowl. Water would go all over counter when washing hands.

“Quaint”
+Location was good. Breakfast was the normal cereal some fruit and pastry but not a variety. The breakfast area was too cluttered for me. Lots of old furniture, fake flowers just stuff all over. Too much for me. The room did not have outlets on the lamps to plug in cell phones etc. Had to unplug coffee maker to charge phone. Would not go back.

“I would not stay here again or reccomend it to anyone.”
+The location to downtown.
−Unfortunately, the property did not match the photos or my expectations. Our room had several maintenance issues, including broken bathroom tiles, missing bedpost knobs with exposed glue, damaged nightstands, a bent window screen, a broken floor lamp switch, and an air conditioner that appeared dirty. The bed was extremely hard, and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The pool area was also poorly maintained. The furniture was rusty with peeling paint, the lounge chairs were ripped, and fake fingernails were left on the pool deck. I was at the pool for a couple of hours, and when I stopped by the office later that afternoon, the pool area was still in the same condition, suggesting it had not been checked or cleaned. To their credit, management responded to my concerns and offered me a complimentary future stay, but I declined because the overall condition of the property did not give me confidence to return. I have photos documenting everything mentioned above. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to friends or family.
